It’s easier said than done. I’m a division 18 player so I run into players with actual skill who does this. Throwing a 4 piece sounds good on the keyboard until you stand in front of someone who spams oblique kicks, spam clinch, spam elbows and knees, all in one. It’s not “skill issue”, it’s the issue with the game rewarding players for playing such a brain dead style with high reward and low risk. This has been happening since UFC 3 and it’s been crazy since UFC4. They have YET to fix this or do anything about this.

Facts, once you hit division 15+ you run into A LOT of spammers bruh it’s annoying. I’ve won again majority of spammers I fight, but the ones I lose to always are always spammers with skill. Good boxing/kickboxing & wrestling. Once I get the upper hand in the fight they immediately resort to spamming some move and I lose the fight. It never fails, EA has to do better with this bruh.
