No matter how many years pass, I still find myself coming back to this animatic and watch it from start to finish without skipping anything because every second of it is so captivating, I never wish for it to end! This song also fits with the whole atmosphere of the visuals and generally with the angsty vibe of the Beast novel. Odazai's bond already makes me emotional enough and the way they're portrayed here, it makes it so satisfying and painful at the same time to watch. Thank you for creating this!

Soooo, here's a quick and not so thorough description of the animatic. I'll be careful not to delve into too much for fear of spoilers, and to have a little something saved for my Patreon. (Also, for those new to me and my story, this is a fantasy story centered on a tale of a man who lived in a land of endless rain. There, he struggles in a community of impoverished people, refugees stranded by a government that had taken them in and taken advantage of their naïveté.) The man reading the book is Rashid, clearly someone who had some sort of connection with Kareem, the subject of this animatic. The animatic opens with him, as does the tale of the book within this video, and ends with him as well (but with one other person). Rashid's life was pretty much in a constant flow of turmoil before he met Kareem, as you caught a hint of that when the animatic delved into Kareem's story. This is where the extent of Rashid's relevance to this animatic ends, and where Kareem's tale begins to unfurl. This is a sneak peak of sorts, a hint at what's to be written in the story I'm developing. Kareem's story proceeds to jump back and forth between three phases of his life: his teenage years, his fresh adulthood years, and his prime. Each has its own stories and struggles, and none are particularly happy periods in his life. There was one other he shared an affinity with, and this one person is someone he was forced to separate with despite his own desires. This person is named Arham, and through Kareem's own efforts, found a way to bring Rashid and Arham together after he failed to reunite with him. And what happened to Kareem? That's a mystery for now

This is wonderful. I love the compositions, transitions, cut aways and how it fits the song. Also the characters are so expressive. I really like the starry sky at the end too.

I like never comment on youtube videos but this is genuinely the best animatic I've ever seen. no, that's not enough praise, like the way I felt this in my SOUL, it's actually just one of the best pieces of art and I'm obsessed with it. idk how I just found it but I will now proceed to share with my friends because I'm amazed and awestruck and very emotional about it
