Hicksville F.D. Operating at an Auto Accident!
At around 3:45 PM, the Hicksville F.D. was toned out to an MVA at Stewart Avenue and Newbridge Road. There was one pin that was handled by NCPD. Crews handled traffic and spill, 9319 alongside NCPD bus 2936 transported to NUMC. Units were up within 15 minutes.

At around 5:00 PM, the East Meadow F.D. was toned out to a CO alarm at the East Meadow Senior Center. Ladder 619 responded alongside chiefs. Units found a faulty detector and were up within 7 minutes.

At around 2:30 PM, the Hicksville Fire Department was toned out to an automatic alarm at 109 Ludy Street. Engines 934, 935 and Tower Ladder 931 responded alongside 9302 and Portable 3. When they arrived they found no fire condition, units were up when key holders arrived.

At around 2:45 PM, the Hicksville Fire Department was toned out for a House Fire at 2 Fordham Avenue. Portable 3 was the first unit on scene, reporting smoke from the fridge. Engine 937 was the first due engine, investigated alongside Ladder 931. They found there was no fire and notified a tech for the fridge, units were up within 15 minutes.

Just before 2:25 PM, the Hicksville Fire Department was alerted to a report of a car fire at 15 Wilfred BLVD. 9399 and Engine 932 were first due and were faced with a fully involved car fire with extension to two houses. 5803 was the first chief on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 (working fire) and mutual aid units promptly started out. At around 6:45 PM, the Hicksville Fire Department was alerted to respond to Rosyln Highlands Fire Department to supply a Rescue for Standby. Rescue 938 responded to support Roslyn during their Signal 10 (working) House Fire.

At around 3:15 PM, the Levittown F.D. was toned out to an automatic alarm at 34 Heather Lane. Engines 622 and 627 responded, finding no fire condition. Units were up within 10 minutes.
East Meadow F.D. Units Responding to an Alarm!

At 12:10 PM, the East Meadow Fire Department was toned out to an automatic alarm at 17 Greenvale Lane. Chief 6102 responded alongside Ladder 617 & Engine 614, which didn't make it to the scene. It was set off due to cooking, units were up within 2 minutes.

Earlier this week, Past Chief of Department Eddie Korona passed away. Services today were held at Dalton's Funeral Home in Levittown. He worked for Volunteer Hose Company 4 and became a Chief, may he rest in peace.

At around 6:15 PM, the East Meadow Fire Department was toned out to a Fire Alarm at 15 Ronni Drive. Chiefs 6100 and 6103 responded alongside Engines 613, 614 and Ladder 619. 6103 transmitted a signal 13 due to faulty activation. None of the rigs made it on scene.

It's curious to see that (0:48") the traffic doesn't allow the fire truck to pass, perhaps because the US firefighters are very exaggerated and no one pays attention to them anymore, which is a mistake.
What's that rag-looking thing tied to the front of 934 at the beginning of the video?

Thank you for your service fire department. Appreciate it come down to CAVIT Fire science come down to Arizona to see where we do for firefighting we do dumpster fires burn out trailers. We do wildland you should come down and train us and we always do parades.
I don't know why anyone would want to show videos of how inept the fire department is! Hicksville is the correct name for this town. All those "firefighters" standing around trying to figure out what they are going to eat for dinner tonight. During my 42 year career as Deputy Chief of a small town we trained the people on the scene to get the fire put out first then discuss dinner and the movie for the evening.
sometimes there are enough people on scene and others are told to just sit around because they wont want to overcrowd the house. and also, in long island there are things called "FAST teams" and if you see them sitting around they're doing their job, because they arent supposed to go in unless theres an FF down. dont know how they do it where you live but thats how it works here you pancake chief

And the idiot drivers in cross traffic just keep going! People are unbelievable! They'd be the first to bitch about response time if it was their emergency call! We run into similar issues with asshole drivers when we pull out of our station/respond.
Interesting contrast with the arrival of Engine and Truck. One crew dressed out and pretty much ready to go to work. The other not so much.

I didn't think 930 used Hi-Lo sirens but I've been proven wrong
@@BricksvilleFireDepartment indeed, came with the PA300 sirens used by all 2004 Engines, our 2007 Engine 932, hazmat units and of course 938.

@@ftlnatp4924 no, it didn’t reach the intersection yet.
Station 4 told me that they were responding to Roslyn to standby for a fire and They’d picked members from station 4

That is one tough Nissan Xterra, look at the damage to the rear and front of that bus vs the damage to the Xterra.

That's how most of these accidents happen, people don't pay attention and drive right behind people.
What state is this in? Police ambulance very rare to see, and shorts… actually casual almost clothes overall. Looks like New York State (hence NYS 200.35 on the control box on the traffic light pole).
Honestly, I think they didn't change into their apparatus uniform because it was just outside. 😂

@@soloelite3995 Yeah, just weird seeing shorts cause even where I live it’s long pants for all uniforms. Realizing it was NYS it ended up making more sense.
