Oh yeah level 25 is high! I used to do it at like 16/17 and now I do the fight at level 12. Rush souls (Curly, Devil, Manticore) are all crazy powerful, and you can make them stronger by increasing your int stat. Elfin Robe is pretty good for that reason. I see you also didn't get the Mystletainn (secret weapon). If from the save room you head: down-left, down, right, down-left, down-right, down-left, and left. The wall to the left at the bottom past the sea of spikes is breakable. Mysltetainn is a pretty decent weapon for a while due to its Light element. Cgz
