I use the 4 o'clock draw one hand, don't need cat claw
Would u recommend the groove belt for a guy on a budget that would barely ever draw his gun?
I would say they found the sweet spot between affordability and functionality. So yes. If you're just carrying your firearm, that would be good. If you're carrying extra items aside from a spare mag like a tac light, wallet, knife etc that belt can hold it sure But over time it will wear pretty heavily so I would suggest a stronger reinforced belt with a higher load bearing.
Move your forward sling mount to your fore grip and wrap it in your arm and you’ll be more stable than if your were laying down
Thank you I appreciate the feedback
So what happens when your tri glide only goes ONE WAY!
I guess if you had 4 back to back gun duels I can see how this is problematic
Thank you lol. It's problematic even if I just need my hands to assess damage / re engage shortly after or conduct a one handed reload. But ultimately I found the issue. It was done with a purposeful intent for a practical application.
Big kore fan and supporter cause they make stellar belts for everyday use! They fit so well and support is out of this world.
I agree! I couldn't be happier with the support and product.
Whatcha worried about your holstering form for, you just pulled your gun out, dude! 😂
I won't be worried at the exact moment. But I may also need my hands to assess any injuries for myself or others. Seconds matter.
I have one of these armor kore belts and brown leather one and its hard to tell them apart. Quality is indeed outstanding but the fact that they are adjustable is the best part.
I absolutely love it. I can't wait to do more videos with it and test it. They blend in nicely. I'm officially a fan
I’ve been carrying for years with my groove life belt and never once had an issue. You can push any design to failure but I don’t see a situation where you would be holstering your weapon like that and doesn’t hold any weight to the efficiency of the product. That holster stayed in place and allowed all that bs to happen which is its purpose, not some imaginary issue that is unrealistic.
Why not put it on the other side of that belt loop? We are talking an inch difference and the of the firearm can’t be stuck?
I don't think that is an issue at all, in a real situation you only need to worry about your draw. Not returning it to the holster.
What sling is that?
Magpul dual point sling
I just built an XCompact and used the FCU out of one of my other SIG's to complete the build. I have the Sig XCompact Grip and the Wilson XCombat Grip. If you want a better balance between the Slide Assembly and the Grip, try the Tungsten weights (1 large cylinder and 2 smaller cylinders) that are a drop-in for both grips. I use weights on all my Polymer Grips whenever I can , the weight addition is not that much for the recoil reduction, better feel you get, and the reduced top heaviness. Part number: C0-G6-WCP320GW-NW734.
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll have to give that a go!
What kinda belt wouldn’t do that?!?!
Good question. I have not tried on other belts. But for this belt, specifically with its design, it retracts and tightens/expands upon force. Which is ideal and pretty neat, but a regular standard belt will not change its shape/structure.
I honestly don’t reholster iwb while the holster is still in place. Be safe and remove the holster, holster you sidearm, then back into the waistband.
Even if it's at the 4 o'clock? Or just appendix carry?
@@directasset I’d treat them the same, you can never be too safe. It’s always the draw that’s more important than the reholster. Take a second
This is giving gay but deeply closeted vides
Lol okay bud. Thanks for stating your opinion.
You could also be this cool
Lmao this might be the gayest thing I’ve ever seen
Seems like you're into it. Lol. 😂 Thanks for expressing your opinion.
You gained another sub just on the fact you take the comments in and don't argue back and forth. Alot on here cant take criticism or help without getting upset. Keep the videos going and post what you can
As long as someone is in charge there is no freedom ,, we have never had real freedom , we are part of the fabric of America, we have more than most ,
I respect your outlook. Thank you for the comment
You drop that to quick pull your side arm your going to cup check yourself
I highly doubt you’ll need to put it away like that in any situation lol
Good thing the speed in which you holster your weapon doesn’t matter in a self defense scenario
You are correct it doesn't. I was determining what the flaw was with my firearm snagging on my belt upon re-entry. And it will not holster unless hastily forced in sometimes.
I really like the slings that can go from one point to two point. Having the ability to go from a one point during the fight and a two point to hold the rifle while walking or using my hands is nice!
Dude, they are amazing!!!! There are weak points at the points of contact, but other than that, they are built tough.
good review, got a sub
I appreciate it
It’s because you shoot a glock!😂
Haha. I know. I switched to sig.
Who makes the one you are using now
Magpul dual point sling
11.5 for life
I need to try one out lol
I know you alresdy adressed this but yeah i dont care if my reholstering is slow and deliberate. I like not blowing my scrotum off
Thank you Captain your gimpery is unflappable
Ok lol
Found it
Glad I could help
Can you test AR mags with the belt?
Thats what happens with your gun belt is a STRETCHY STRAP thats $70 bucks. I fell for it too.
You hit the nail on the head.
i would get a kore belt and bypass all this nonsense
You are not the 1st person to recommend them. I may have to see what all the hype is about. Is there a specific version or just any of their products ?
I’m bout to purchase my first sling any advice or recommendations on which sling I should go with
Sure, I have a couple of pointers. 1. Determine the use: 2 point is for 90% of applications outdoor, 1 point serves best for indoor. Best result go with a 2 in 1 or multi sling if you can't decide. 2. Do some research on the pros and cons per company. Everyone has "the best" sling, but what do you prefer. Cheap and decent, or expensive and well engineered. Look up reviews. 3. I would personally order from Amazon, if it doesn't fit your needs, it can be returned (make sure first) 4. Practice with it when you get it. And put it on with and without gear if you have any. 5. Magpul seems to have a good sling not too expensive and meets shooter demands. There are so many other companies that I myself haven't tried. So I would stay updated on my channel as I do gear reviews. So in the future, something better may come along you'll be updated. Best of luck.
What company are you looking it purchasing from if I may ask?
I'm a man so I'm not a huge fan of getting whacked in the nuts everytime I take a step. So I'll stick with the 2 point.
What kind of strap is that?
Magpul MS4® Dual QD Sling GEN2 Features two heavy-duty QD Sling Swivels
I also did a review on these two slings. th-cam.com/video/VOywd90H0i8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pG3FeeWoEALWBqLn
@@directasset thank you, sir!
No problem!
Can confirm MOS Tactical is a great place to order candy from 😂
Haha. White glove service goes a long way!
They definitely make quality products there I have a small crossbody bag from them that is about 10 years old now, I use it as a range bag and have previously used it hiking and other things and it still looks just as good as day 1. They definitely make quality products, great content by the way just discovered your channel and will definitely be watching more
I appreciate it man! Thank you. I love their slings so far. I'll be looking into more of their gear in the near future.
You should never need to do a fast re holstering
I agree. It was for testing purposes. The gun would get stuck on the trigger guard. Had to diagnose whether it's a holster or belt issue. An updated video of the belt and new holster use has been published.
I Don't care what anyone says the groove belt is a great belt as far as being used as just a belt maybe some very light carry but it's not a great carry belt!! I own the regular groove and the groove low profile also own the Kore essential Which isn't comfortable a bit When you sit down but is a great CC belt!! 😂 👊🏼
I agree. It's a pretty sweet belt. It's just not a great carry belt. How does the low profile do for you? Is it better than the original or not much difference? And Yea, I've heard the same about kore. Do you have any other options? I also did an updated video of what the belt looks like 2 years later after use.
@@directasset I'm a bigger guy so the low profile is sweet for slacks shorts that kind of stuff... Definitely more comfortable on the daily But for regular pants and lightweight gear stick with the original...As far as other belts the Kore has held up great been using it for 4yrs haven't had to grab another CC Belt but it's a little uncomfortable when you have to sit and get up and down a good bit I was hoping the groove belt was the fix for that but it isn't!! Haven't tried the Grip 6 yet... Have you? I'll have to check out your updated vid!! 👊🏼
Because you got tired of rackin' your balls😁
Where did you get this sling?
You can find it online or I got it at my local bass pro/ cabelas shop. Search dual point Magpul. But I might have better options. I'm reviewing 2 more tactical slings in about a week 2 once they get in.

How to be a better man in 5 steps: th-cam.com/video/PeA--fZXuLc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YSkbZOXwWAPa_EvE
This is great in theory for target practice. But in real world application leave your finger off the trigger outside of the trigger guard. If you practice your finger being inside the trigger guard only when the muzzle is pointed at a threat you will mitigate most of the hazards around gun safety
For the vast majority of people, yes. I would agree to that statement. For people who train alot, that majority, which is very few are teaching this wall method. Where you present your gun with a threat in view and come to the wall *pull most of the poundage or slack off the trigger (requires extreme trigger discipline) at take the shot if nessecary. But that specific skill has to be hardwired and practiced 100s of times. Otherwise yes I would agree to your primary statement for the average individual.
A lot of scenarios are also heavily based on context. So situation dependant, most times, your finger will be off and on the outside. Presenting to an immediate threat or in the vicinity of gets a little gray and will depend on your training.
What was that third option you had
Wumbo
I don’t have this exact gun but mine says full auto but doesn’t flip over
A rifle bouncing against your appendix carry is safe? I'm open for education.
For the purpose of the video. My intention that day was to strictly talk about sling management along with the pros and cons. If you are carrying appendix with a great holster, which I recommend, your rifle is your primary weapon. If you need to transition to your secondary (assuming you already went through the quick tap rack bang method) and you're in an emergency. Your rifle will be transitioned behind you only for the short duration of time to take care of the threat and eventually get your primary back up and running. I will make another video going over those transitions for those who are carrying appendix or 4 o'clock style. Ultimately, to answer your question, modern-day quality holsters and firearms are designed to withstand and function with some abuse, which many people will not really get into (combat wise) on a day to day scenario. If I had to get my rifle when that's not a part of my EDC.. someone is going to have a bad day, and stuff really got serious.
Great question!
@@directasset I learn a lot around here. I'm too old for tactical stuff. So I leave that to grampa Sylvester Stallone. 😂
Haha. Well, I found out simplicity often works the best. I'm just happy you're here.
@@directasset Alright, alright alright......😂
Do you have a video on how you painted that ar? Looks nice
Thanks, man. I'll write it down on my list of videos to make
If you want to get a bit more stability, try moving the mounting point pretty far up the rail. It takes a bit to get used to but it stays stable climbing fences and stuff
I'll try it out thanks for the tip
@@directasset sure thing man, also helps when bracing the sling for a more stable shot because you can get your hand further out the rail
I understand that it is an informative video, but hell at least use a real AR15 (5.56 .223) not a .22LR😵💫
It's a real diamondback AR just with a conversion 22 in it for training purposes. Ammo is expensive , bro lmao. A couple hundred rounds per month adds up, over the year.
Once I get this youtube up and my business running along with my supplements, maybe I'll be able to afford 556 lmao
If you had an AR that wasn't a 22LR using a conversion kit the mags would fit better in a mil spec lower and drop free as long as you don't use cheap junk. Try loading your 22LR with the bolt back if the bolt catch will hold it back. Buy a rifle in caliber that it was designed for say 5.56MM or .223 and it'll inherently work better.
I 100% agree. I do have all the components. This is my training weapon. We had cheap junk in the military, so I figured it was a good additional detail to include
@@directasset junk 😂
Only the finest junk known to man. Military grade gave it a whole new meaning. We even had robot dogs with our 240s on them. Never got to use it in the field though.
