Call your local MasterCraft dealer. They will be able to get you the correct canvas for your model. Make sure you have the boat Hull ID on hand! The R180 is 18'4" long. Add outboard length of about 2' and then trailer tongue length depends on the trailer model. This will definitely fit in a garage that is 25 feet long. Could fit in a 22-23 foot garage if the trailer tongue is a swing-away.

GREAT QUESTION - I just measured the distance from the rub rail to the bottom of the submersible swim step (deployed/down) - That measured to about 14 inches. Then I measured from the bottom of the step (deployed) to the bottom of the lower unit, where the propeller is (trimmed all the way down) - There are roughly 28 inches between the two. It is definitely a feature that requires engine shutoff to enjoy. We do not recommend using the step or jumping off the back while the boat engine is powered on and the propeller is in motion.

@@marcmorgan3026 Our customers LOVE their swim steps because they are so convenient when you're on the sandbar or anchored out and enjoying the open water for extended periods of time. Our local waters are totally landlocked, so our boating experience consists of plenty of "still" time. It's rare that someone regrets optioning the submersible swim step up north in Minnesota. However, the boats still have a telescoping swim ladder that is easy to use and hides flush under the platform door when not in use! Either way, you have awesome access to the stern of the boat. That would be a sweet innovation! They tried to offer a "platform" with the stern seats flipped down and motor trimmed down in the water. It would be nice to have extra space behind that helm seat so you're still "inside" the boat with plenty of room to fish.

That depends on the gear and persons you've got on board. Top speed is somewhere around 40mph. Best cruising speed is around 20mph.

There are two options when building a Robalo R180: Option 1: Standard Aluminum Prop Option 2: Stainless Steel Prop ($615 Upgrade) Both of these options are available, whether you equip your R180 with the 115hp Yamaha or the 150hp Yamaha outboard. As far as pitch goes, you'll have to check out the specs when ordering. Pitch varies between motor sizes.
