It's to give Asellus a bit of extra credits and stats so she can make it through the early game using the autosave at the start of Blue's Story. It's something we're allowed to do as long as we're not starting things up from a prepared NG+ file. This is the official ruling on SRC. -For individual scenarios, you are allowed to use NG+ if and only if you use save data created during that specific run (e.g. start Blue, autosave, start Asellus NG+ with Blue's autosave)

Pretty much XD I prefer to do the Any% (aka easy mode) runs over this because there you actually need to take over everything yourself.

She does become usable again after that cutscene, it just takes a few months for her to recover.

I have no idea. I have the disk so I play it on my ps2.

I mainly speedrun games from my childhood like SaGa Frontier, Resident Evil, Brigandine, stuff like that. Good to see that other people enjoy the more obscure games! :) Yeah, Lute is the only protagonist that you can remove from the main party XD And since he starts out really bad we just yeet him from the party and focus on mecs, Thunder, Rouge and Capt. Hamilton.

I'm playing the game on a PS2 with fast disk speed turned on. I got the game from ebay for around $80 years ago, it's likely a lot more then that now.

Didn't really need to heal it. Would rather get the fight over with then give a unicorn extra experience and lose time.

It's a pretty obscure game. Growing up I only knew of like two other people who even heard of it. It's a little on the expensive side on ebay, but if you can get a copy I recommend you try it out!

@@raclesis6788 Well I dont think there is any glitches cause of how game plays but about faster timing it looks like more of a random AI thing also better act with your units and spent less time on managing troops Cant imagine you''ll doing all this tho Game itself never was meant to play this way : D

@@raclesis6788 Oh just got some on my mind Actually there IS some strange AI behavior that you can call a glitch I dont know how it works but sometimes AI generals abandon their troops in castles without any reason I got default red faction 20 lvl Salamander without fighting it, it was just in castle roster

@@FireVasilisk Managing troops can be rough when you're trying to go fast. When I'm doing a run I try to at least keep a dragon in a party with a character who can use Power and fill the rest with what ever I can at the time. I try to also get at least one ghoul or something to put right in front of my mages because enemy melee knights like to run up and slap them so when they do they get a dragon breath and big spells to the face. Someone a while ago suggested I use nothing but Jinns, but I don't think that's a great idea because they fold like paper and having to go back and forth to castles to summon more would be rough XD

@@FireVasilisk I've always wondered why that happens! I've gotten tiamats and other really powerful monsters that way.

I tend to speedrun games that I either grew up with or interested me. Nox was a game I randomly picked up at the store as a kid because I thought the box art was cool and my brothers and I loved it. We all played the hell out of it. I'm really glad to see that other people like it too because growing up I didn't know anyone else who played this game. :)

@@forcelightningcable9639 Leonia, Iscalio and Norgard I think can all be improved upon. I was trying to get under 5 hours with Leonia but then I went on to run other stuff.

This run isn't too hard to learn. There are a few areas where you can get lost in but you can save anywhere at any time and that really helps with learning. Expect the RNG to be really mean sometimes though.

@@raclesis6788 Brangien, faticia, and zerafin to almekia and carleon : change faticia to cleric (for halo), bring 3-4 jinns, use power to all jinns and brangien + get Almekia's salamander asap then it should be easy to bring down almekia and carleon Vaynard, ector, roadbull + guinglain, yvain and palomides to esgares and then go down to iscalio Kirkmond, dillard, noie to leonia

It really is. I only knew of one other person who played this besides my brothers and I growing up. It's one of my favorite games of all time. :)

Thanks, and yep! That NPC along with the robot on the next screen that wonders around can block you in different runs.

You can make safety saves. I try to avoid it if I can since reloading from one takes forever. XD
