Was debating it but wasn't sure what to do for the section afterwards, might do an extended version
Omg this is amazing! At the ending though, it felt like Vale Decem should have started back in? Maybe mixing little bits of Vale Decem through the edit, just to build up to Vale Decem during the regeneration sequence.
You reminded me how much I had cried, how sad I was when he was gone. I hated Matt Smith the second he appeared (I was so blind wtf) and generally mad at the whole show for ending this like that. Anyway, I came to my senses and continued to enjoy the rest of the seasons realizing that every Doctor's death is painful but a new adventure awaits around the corner. Still, David Tennant will always be the most iconic, the best Doctor.
I still very much remember watching this regeneration when it aired, I was 11 at the time and only time I teared up to a regeneration scene

I think Vale Decem works much better as this feels to upbeat for this regeneration specifically
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I hate that they made this regeneration so depressing. That is not, nor has it ever been what regeneration is about. Legitimately ruins The End of Time and Tennant for me in a lot of ways.
I do agree, Vale Decem was a brilliant piece of scoring, I thought for this rescore this song kinda worked but Vale was deffo more emotional and powerful. One of Murray Golds best

This was so well done. The music fit beautifully and I loved the flashbacks to further mirror Deadpool & Wolverine’s ending.
