It used to be that Chinese knockoff parts were just stuff cheap jokers would buy. But now with the cost of everything skyrocketing namely essentials more and more people are jumping for this junk because its all they can afford. This is hurting the car hobby bad. The American companies are spending massive amounts on r&d and abuse testing and once the product has been out 2 years junkmaster has a reverse engineered clone available for a third of the price. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP.
Those intake ports are helical ports, designed to create swirl. The root word helix describes a spiral staircase, that gave me a better idea how to go about porting the helical ports in my 7.3 Powerstroke. Coast To Coast Diesel Enthusiasts is my TH-cam channel, I’ve been working on the heads in my spare time but I’m pretty closes to the polishing stage. I’ve used a T bore gauge to help keep a consistency across all the ports, both intake runners and helical ports as well as the exhaust ports. I want to get custom valves and upgrade to better valve guides and seats because the factory heads have inducted valve seats and hardened valve guides. This video is definitely great to see someone else doing port work. 2 thumbs up!
@@JasonVied porting diesel heads definitely poses a different set of challenges from our usual work , good luck with your 7.3

I had a similar thing happen. There’s two bar codes, one on the box and one on the can. It was probably confused, picking up both bar codes…… Also, I’m kinda glad I don’t have to sit thru my groceries being checked out by a bitter employee. No ONE is nice at Walmart anymore.
I think I’ll go back to my original plan and avoid Walmart
That was good for a laugh 😂
Man the picture quality is 👌
Great video, I’ve never seen inside of a Lenco. I’m surprised you don’t soak the friction material before you install them.
Honestly I probably should have I didn’t think about it at the time
Decided to completely rebuild my 93 Silverado apposed to buying a new truck. Invested around $10,000 for New radiator Frt End Engine trans seals to all wheel seals and bearings. When I got to electronic computer sensors, tps etc. I had to literally dig my old Delco parts out of the trash after 3 different foreign made trash sensors were installed. Cheap Parts are Cheap. Just say NO.
I wish we had the option of buying better parts sometimes the junk is all that’s available
One car i wish i would have kept.
Buy once cry once.
Should have soaked them in trans fluid before you put them in
They want 30 weight oil in it but I imagine you’re correct in they should have been soaked hopefully the oil will work in there before we go to the track
I’ve always wanted to know more about the Lenco, thanks guys. 👌
Well, learned something new today. They must be tough Cleetus and Jackstand had a 5 speed for a while and never tore it up and those guys can screw up a shit sammich.
Lol
They’re actually very well made but take a bunch of power to turn is why you don’t see more of them
You are 100% correct! We must stop all crap flooding our hobby it destroys companies and our cars! I guess you noticed what happened to Broader Performance and how Speedmasters just copying he’s product! It’s got to be stopped.
That was a crazy story even putting their name on the part
Nice work! You make that look really easy, but I know it isn't. Take care guys!
I had a 68 coronet in the 80’s. Still my favorite car. For whatever reason the drivers seat was power.
We live in the age of instant gratification, people are not willing to save up enough money to buy great parts. I still have parts left over from the 80’s that still work great. Manufacturers that build overseas are not interested in your satisfaction, only they have your money in there hand. The parts I have were damn expensive, and required sacrifice to purchase but other generations of people have to have it now, even if it’s JUNK!
I wish I could say you’re wrong
Hey you guys have done a lot of work and looking forward to seeing it finished. I have a wonderful 64 Chevy 2 and I have put tci there link suspension. I have blue print motor and 700r4 monster trans. 411 rear gear possie . Much more to go. Great job guys!
