Calexico has created, in my opinion, another gem with Gift X-Change. The lyrics and music complement each other. The tune captures an important element of love in that we are instructed to love others as we love ourselves. Therefore, we should give ourselves that kind and quality of love. Loving others well depends on recognizing that God loves us, and that we can love God back.
