    I just tried the same Reeberb 2 effect on the piano, but somehow it does not sound the same... It makes the full note repeat several times instead of making the end "vibrate", if that makes sense. Anyone knows why this is happening?

    heres s tip, when peopleare wanting to learn a technique 9 times out of 10 they dont care how it originated, influences, or artists who backed it. mainly because they probably already know them, and talking about dilla for half your video when everyone and their grandma know Dilla, but dont know how to sample cleanly doest help anyone learn how to sample. stop sucking your influences off and just get to the lesson it kills engagement and bored me before i got to the lesson. its unnecessary and can just confuse your viewer. keep music history for a minimum when talking theory and technique just some advice. alsovery transparent that you needed more content for a full 10 mins and you just cheaply plugged your music at the end for lack of other techniquen to extend the video.(its not that your music isnt good or worth it, just leaving the link is mysterious enough for people to want to listen dont blow your whole load off the rip and put it in the video people can take that poserishly Ive done it) idk man you dont gotta try that hard when your teaching is actually on point just be yourself dont worry about time or influences, noone was asking or complainging about what sample you used youre being overly critical on your good art in my opinion in hopes you appease to idk someone being negative about your art. once again this is advice, i think you got this and i can feel that you can do better too. youre a good teacher just dont think too hard on your method guy. dont add filler to your videos such as too long talking about dilla and too much emptyspace filled with music that didnt need to be played fully just advertised even if it was a snippet. good luck you got this and just be yourself dont try too hard and dont be as nervous get looser with your lines this is your channel no one elses. much love.

    It's been awesome to watch the community grow, and I really liked the Japan vids seriously! I'm with you there on the struggles like if I'm not producing, I'm not being productive, but I suppose it'll be that way for any creative type who wants to strive for the best. I'm glad the channel got recommended to me almost a year ago around when I pulled the trigger on buying fL , serum, splice, akai mini (thx for the rec it's been a great little midi board) and a computer to handle it all. I poured good money into this new hobby but was learning at a painfully slow rate before your tutorials. I didn't know what a pad or a semitone was or that midi keyboards don't even make sound externally lol but yeah, the day I quit officially and said no more, I got recommended your lofi from scratch vid and you made it look so easy and fun which thankfully now it is for me 🤙 congrats on the growth !!!

I am very glad you didn't quit and that you were able to keep creating! I definitely think the learning curve is really steep when it comes to starting with making music, but I find it so fulfilling. Thank you for the congratulations and congrats to you as well on the growth of your skills and all the improvements you have had as well 🤜🤛

    Yo I wanna learn guitar so I thought you'd be the man to ask. What electric guitar should I buy for cheap but still quality? And whats the best approach to learn you think?

    • @sebastianwalkr9016
      @sebastianwalkr9016 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yo Yo Jack, thanks for coming to me to ask. I have a couple questions first. Are you definitely going to get an electric guitar? If you choose an electric guitar you will likely need an amp and chord which can be a decent amount more money. I think the best bet would be to buy some cheap acoustic guitar off amazon or from a music store. I think buying the cheapest option is good in two ways. First way is its less money so you feel less bad. Second is that if you really enjoy guitar you can buy a more expensive guitar later. I believe that a good musician can make great music with any quality instrument, so don't worry about buying expensive stuff. For learning, there are two main things to learn. First is scales/notes and the second is chords. I am pretty good at chords but shit at scales. I find scales really hard to learn compared to chords. Chords will be able to help you learn how to play songs quickly because most songs have pretty simple chords. There are lots of tutorials and books to read on guitar, but I would say the most important thing would be just finding things you wanna learn and keep practicing it. You are gonna suck at first, but keep working at it and you will get alot better. Let me know if I can help with any other stuff, best of luck man!

    • @Jack-id4qm
      @Jack-id4qm 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sebastianwalkr9016 Thank you much my man! I love the way electric sounds but you're right I should start at the bottom and if I'm serious maybe go all out eventually. I hear from every player that it's like a max level difficulty instrument to learn but hey makes it all the more impressive when u learn it guess. Thank you good sir 🤝

    • @sebastianwalkr9016
      @sebastianwalkr9016 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jack-id4qm Of course man, glad I could help. I definitely agree that the electric guitar sounds really cool but it probably costs about double to get everything you need vs an acoustic guitar. I don't think its a max level instrument to play easy stuff, I think it has a really high maximum skill level though. Best of luck Jack! 🎸
