I scored a 22 but I went to the school and my score went up I got a 38 and my line scores were so much better !
Ahh MEPS, the LAST place I ever want to be, but have to be in order to fulfill a requirement. I went to San Diego MEPS. No hotel tho, I drove from my home because it was 8 miles away. Got there at 04:45 per my recruiter and then got out at 13:30. Passed and qualified now awaiting Air Force BMT ship out. BTW, I went to MEPS, FASTED! Didn't eat anything in over 13 hours PRIOR and then finally ate after MEPS completion. I say I didn't eat for at least 20 hours. Just drank plenty of water before going there.

@@user-mw5zd5gm1t hi, yes you do if you requested a full examination day from your recruiter. He/she will offer you a MEPS day where you go just for ASVAB and then the full medical, physical, hearing & vision test, and drug test the next day. I opted for the complete examination day which includes ASVAB test and complete examination. Saves time and not have to worry about coming back.
@@user-mw5zd5gm1t Hi, yes you will get to do your ASVAB there as well. However, you can choose to do ASVAB one day at MEPS and then schedule your full medical and physical examination the next or the WHOLE package, which is both ASVAB and physical. I went to do the full package.

@@kassandramontano thank you! Its an acquired thing, I did it for about 5 years before MEPS. Its called “intermittent fasting.” Its where you don’t eat, just drink water for at least 16 hours, and then in 8 hour window you can eat 2-3 meals but no snacking in between. Its a cycle. Sometimes, if I’m not working, i’ll eat one big meal and then don’t eat till the next day.
Oop your giving me a lot of confidence to speak with a recruiter and no clue till now didn't know about the schooling program. I had always thought about being a helicopter pilot in the national guard because those blackhawks are just👌👌👌👌👌 also I have these moments you only live once and really don't want regrets later in life when I one day can't do it.

How do u know if u got accepted bec I just finished Meps and I hear some people got a date but I don’t yet
I have my MEPS in like 3 days. I watched so many videos that had me scared but this one helped me calm down and realize that it’s just another doctor’s appointment.
It’s just a very extensive doctor’s appointment. Nothing to be nervous about, good luck!

the military is not fast easy money lol u actually get paid very bad for the amount of work and service u put in, but discipline is good if thats what u go for military can open very good doors for u and teach u the concept of discipline and independence. if all you want to do is army for career it is a good move for money because of free housing etc (you live on base) and the 20 yr retirement plan.
Yeah my mindset in Highschool was about money money money but now it’s not it’s more of the discipline/ growth and yes I will gain some skills once I get out and hopefully get a higher paying career !
