Thanks for watching. I don’t mind the heat as long as I catch fish and have enough water. Fishing is so good right now. Cold water makes the fish more less enticing to bite.

@@robbysmusic8507 I always keep many as I can from lake mead. There’s literally Trillions of them and they eat all the bass fry. No wonder they never want to do National Bass Tournaments here anymore. Stripers are the only fish I enjoy eating besides bluegill/crappie. Thanks for watching.

Yeah water went down so much, trash can area is really shallow. Water should go up next year hopefully

Can’t really get to that spot by foot but you can fish near the ramp area. I see many people have a slip bobber rig with soft plastics fish from shore. Majority of the whole lake to catch crappie will be shallow water.

Biggest one I caught this day was around 5lbs. Jerkbaits is always a good all year round lure for striped bass in lake mead. I always have a natural color (sexy shad), white, or anything that has crawfish or purple tints. When topwater isn’t hitting, Jerkbaits are the lure to throw.

Make sure your side plate is closed before you move the dial. There is (W,1,2,3,4,Open) slots. If your dial is on Open, it will not turn unless the latch is slided to closed.

Yeah very fun. Kayak is very stable and durable. I just took it to Willow recently, the view is breathtaking on a kayak.

Nope got skunked like usual. I was trolling garcias/robs umbrellas and throwing soft/hard glidebaits all day. Only saw 1 striper at the hatchery in 10ft of water that entire day but he left when I made too much noise approaching. Someone on a boat caught one up the river but lost it before netting it. Lots of carp when I went. Next time I will go during trout stocking day to increase my chances. For now, I’ll stick to lake mead because I never go skunked.

@@saraieatsstirfry5537 I can't blame you there. Lake Mead will always have fish ha ha. Willow beach skunks a lot of people. It's a really hard fishery but the reward is worth it. I was almost crying when I caught my first striper there lmao

Lol the bass boat is my dad’s friend boat. Called them over to come to my spot. They were out trolling but didn’t have the best luck. They couldn’t find crappies either

The Jetski guy and other Kayaker was watching me throw topwater for an hour straight 😂 Told them to throw topwater/crankbait and they caught a couple in another spot away from me.

Yep $25 Japanese lure not worth losing Uncle.

Thought it was just the left side. Learn something new everyday. Won’t be doing that again lol.
