The game looks really smooth and polished and your trailer demonstrates that very well! The only thing id say is that maybe to change the players sprite as compared to the rest of the game, they feel a little out of place, other than that this looks really good :]

I imagine V1 finally beats the final boss, and then the next level is just 0-1, without the enemies, and with no light. Then, you get the message: *Something wicked this way comes.*

i just realized how much of a plot twist it would be if p-3 doesn't exist and 9-2 is truly the last level. truly the final kill. no more challenges. no more missions. its all extinct
