@@htran383 i would see if I could release that burner can, clean it and reinstall it. Also check for obstructions. That should do the trick

@@dhderek I actually just used a metal brush to clean the port right now and now there's no longer that flame as a chunk of debris fell off, however, it doesn't look like the burner can is burning. I also noticed on your video at 11:04, all the burner cans are burning except for 2nd one to the right, that's the exact can I have that isn't burning also. Just curious, though it's a good idea to remove the burner can to try and clean it, do you think I should manually try to pilot light that burner can to give it a little kick start? Thanks for the quick response!!

@@htran383 if you can safely do that, go for it. But I'm expecting there to be no gas and thus no flame. There is probably not enough pressure for the gas to get through. Maybe there is an obstruction in the gas supply bar?

@@dhderekone last question. Do you need to completely remove the two screws on the sides in order for the panel to slide out for the canister burner to drop down and replace it? I loosen the screws on both sides but there was not enough clearance to pull forward. Thanks again!

The question of "what is it actually doing" cannot be answered. It depends on which observer you ask, and the question should be "what is it doing according to you?". There is no absolute answer. That is the conclusion you will draw at the end of the videos. Your comment had me thinking for a while, especially the fact that objects appear to shrink when they are farther away from us. Let's take a building for a second, which is 150m tall. If we were to shoot a photon from the floor up to a mirror in the ceiling and back down, it would take the photon a microsecond (millionth of a second). But if we move away from the building, up to the point where we could barely see it, that photon would still travel for that same amount of time. And since the measured speed of light is always 'c', which is the most important basis for this theory, we can conclude that the building has not *actually* shrunk. But it would definitely appear smaller, explained by the fact that the angle between the floor and ceiling becomes smaller as seen from your eyes. Same goes for the clock concept. It works flawlessly once you accept that 'c' is an absolute velocity. Remember that the photon in the spaceship does not belong to the spaceship, or anyone else for that matter. It is in its own frame of reference. The astronaut in the spaceship is merely an observer who can tell us what they see, while the photon and its speed are absolute.

@@dhderek So, we can't know what the photon is doing and yet, we can conclude that time is affected? You haven't addressed the latter half of my comment - what is the proof that, clocks of any kind, represent or determine what is happening to proper time? You say it all makes sense, provided c is accepted as a constant in all frames of reference. Even if this (miracle) was granted, it still wouldn't say anything about time directly so, any connection with time would also have to be inferred. I make a big deal about this point because a) it is not only overlooked but never addressed and b) because of some fortunate insights on the nature of, what is referred to as, proper time, I believe a connection between clocks and time cannot exist. Regardless, can you explain why we should believe otherwise? The experiment in the early 70s with the atomic clocks is usually cited as proof of SR but, has anyone asked which of the clocks represented our time line and how they managed to latch on to the correct flow of time? Or, how were they able to still see the clocks that had deviated from our time line? I'm deliberately half joking to illustrate the absurdities but absurdities they are if you accept such claims about clocks and time. Your thoughts?

@@StuMaswe know exactly what the photon is doing. The only variabel is our direction of travel in relation to it. So with different frames of reference, come different conclusions. The point is: there is no 'proper' time. But the solution here is that the unit of c is meters per second. Or distance per unit of time. So whatever you want that time to be, proper or not, light will travel a certain distance within it. From our point of view. If we can measure the time that light travels, we know the distance. If we measure the distance, we know the time it took. Something that is important to note here, is that the ruler we use to measure that distance is stationary in relation to us. You elude to the atomic clocks experiment, I have heard of it, but I am not familiar with the details. What I do know is that radioactive material decays in a very predictable way and speed, and it has been proven in experiments that this decay slows down when the material speeds up. In fact all natural processes slow down when they start travelling faster. Also aging of our bodies. That's 'time' for you. But let's stick to the video I've posted. Because I am curious to hear where you think the theory falls apart. At what time? I have spent a lot of hours figuring out these basic principles of the theory. Even without any of Einstein's arguments, I cannot draw any other conclusion than the theory being correct and sound.

Hey Bobu, dus we hebben het over die remkabel. Zit er wat speling op tussen dat verroeste deel dat je niet loskrijgt, en de rem zelf? Dat is namelijk de bedoeling als ik hem, iets daarvoor, vastdraai. Als je wat speling op de kabel hebt, maar hij komt niet los, is ie waarschijnlijk vastgeroest. Als alles er zo uitziet als bij mij, zou ik een bijtel/koevoetje ertegenaan zetten en er dan op tikken met een hamer. Als dat niet lukt, eerst kruipolie, uurtje laten intrekken, dan weer proberen. Laat maar weten.

@@dhderek Hoi Derek, je hebt dat cylindertje en daar gaat een schroef doorheen die aan de andere kant vast zit aan zo'n hoedje (dat plastic deel). De schroef kan eigenlijk los bewegen door de cylinder, eraan draaien lijkt eigenlijk niets te doen. Het kan zijn dat de trommelrem(of wat die trommel ook is waar de rem aan vast zit) veel geroest is en dat die daarom niet zo ver komt. Er zit heel veel speling in de kabel alleen blijkbaar gewoon niet genoeg, er moet nog een goede halve centimeter meer in zitten op een of andere manier.

Kan je meer speling op de kabel krijgen door die rem naar de voorkant vd fiets te trekken (zelfde beweging als wanneer je de rem inknijpt)
