Random thought: i think in this Case the height should be around 70-75
But ofcourse i would assume If you want it to be as accurate as possible you should use the actual maximum height difference within that snippet you chose 😜
How come I need to download the countor and import it? When It get imported, it can't decode the file too.

Additionally, when printing the contour map, could you provide guidance on the recommended scale to ensure clarity and accuracy in the representation of the data?

Equator offers a free trial that allows you to extract and download contours for a limited number of project locations. After the trial has ended, there is a fee.
But it seems data is not open source like google earth and qgis

thanks for this video but there is big problem which is this method can not make real height for buildings and all of them had same height which is wrong. Is there any solution that we can have a layer with real height of buildings since I am going to use it for calculating solar radiations on rooftops
using qgis 3.36.1 under vector tab cannot find contour
In the older version of QGIS, the Contours is under the Vector tab. This is not available in the more recent versions, so an alternative method would be to us the Contour plugin.

In the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin (SCP), the Clustering option should show up under Band Processing.

Hi, nice video. Is it possible to visualize underwater Lidar data as well?
Yes, you can visualize underwater using LiDAR data. It is called Bathymetric LiDAR. However, at this time, Equator does not host any bathymetric data.
What if the site showed no contours?
To determine if your site has high resolution LiDAR data associated with it, go to the Data Products tab, and under Contours toggle on the Coverage map. If the map shows that there is coverage on your site, but you are getting only partial contour coverage, you may have a site that is between two datasets. In this case, you will need to download both datasets for full site coverage.
