Code is ugly

This was just a pet project, I had intended to push to GitHub once I was happy with it, but I never saw any interest. I'm actually pretty embarrassed by the code now, I never structured it as a real project. I'd be happy to give out an executable, but I don't have any immediate plans to continue development.

look, you can push it to github and advertise it in some lego groups and probably people will keep it up. you UI looks much better than any other mosaic creator and the options and calc speed also looks good

Thank you, I based the GUI on the LDD to POV-Ray app. If anything I would refactor the existing code into more loosely-coupled components before I would be ready to release it. The GUI would probably need to be upgraded from Swing to Java FX, but I'd be interested to see any improvements to the algorithm that places larger bricks whenever possible. The current implementation for that method is incredibly time-complex, so many nested loops. I'm really surprised it's so quick. I signed a lot of documents for my current job limiting what I can distribute, I'd have to take another look at whether this would constitute a breach.
