Any paper works for 3D origami, most tutorials call for a4 but I just get regular printer paper size
How much origami do I need?

Hi! I searched A4 paper dimensions online and it looks like the dimensions are 8.25 inches x 11.75 inches. The paper I use is 8.5 inches x 11 inches, so I'm not sure if A4 papers can fold like that. Feel free to try it and let me know :)

Thank you for the compliment!! I used to have that problem a lot when I first started. It could be the type of paper you are using. Hi! It varies depending how long you want the neck to be. I think I used about 416 white pieces and about 250 blue pieces.

Hi, just to ask how did you remake the head to be bigger? Is it to squeeze extra piece onto a pre-existing layer?( haha im trying to follow your steps to make)
Hi! I didn't make a tutorial for this yet, and this is just a timelapse. To make the head bigger, I just squeezed pieces into an inverted layer before starting the head. I believe most of my bt21 tutorials show the exact process with a lot more detail. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!

What length of printer paper do you use? Also, does the weight of the paper matter?
I use printer paper that is 8.5 inches x 11 inches. The weight of the paper does not matter. I hope this helps :)

Question ! What ever the project your working on does it really matter what color your paper is ? Now with me , I've have on hand regular colored printer paper which is very easy to cut even with scissors Paper on hand is slightly thin in thickness so it is easy to cut even with scissors .
The color does not really matter as long as you are happy with the colors you are using!

Hello there ! Just caught the show ! Like to say this method is great but I use a different approach I can fold my paper the same way as you but to make sure my paper is straight along the lines I would take a ruler and lay it down upon the folded Lines and using a knife or paper cutter I just take the knife and cut straight down for a nice straight cut .
It's so amazing really help me making one but I need it in 8 inch size can you give me some advice 😅
Does the height of the model have to be 8 inches?

This model is actually about six inches when I built it. I would suggest adding more rows to the model or making the ears bigger. I hope this helps :)
