Yes, we have a long way to go. All we have to do is love each other that crack some hearts and that’s how the light gets in. We’re in a new area now God smiled on us. Give us a second chance to get it right this time Lord I’m asking you, open peoples heart open their eyes open their ears. Let them see your love through us.

This just sounds like bribery through charity. Thinking you can buy your way into heaven. This could leave someone to think that they could do wrong as long as you leave a large charitable donation somewhere.

What matter is personal relationship with Jesus. In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says many people will do chrisitans stuff in My name but Jesus will tell them "...I never knew you..." that "knew"/knowing in the Greek is Gnosis which is first hand relational knowledge. Jesus was saying He never had relationship with those individuals.

I grew up in church, but I'm smarter than most. I read the tablets that the Bible was based off of, and the Bible is an incomplete article that says not to add or take away from it, yeah that's exactly what King James did and that's what Christians carry around with them. A false idol. Absolutely ridiculous they don't even know anything about their own religion

1 Corinthians 15 (KJV) ¹ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; ² By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. ³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; ⁴ And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Ephesians 1 (KJV) ⁷ In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; ¹³ In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 2 (KJV) ⁸ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ⁹ Not of works, lest any man should boast. “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” - Ephesians 2:13 (KJV)

"God is more fun, personal, and enjoyable" YES! HE (God) is the real treasure...not heaven. Heaven will be amazing, mansions, streets of gold, River of Life, perfection, no sin, but still all of heaven pails and dims compared to Him. Heaven wouldn't be heaven without God. HE is the prize of the high calling Paul talks about in the Bible.

I think spiritual formation is the result of a righteous decision from a revealed truth if acted upon. Pursuing this idea leads to character change (hence formation or morphing) from the accepted revealed truth that leads to discipleship which is action inspired by the effect of the decision.

The comment about Paul’s letter to the Romans in Chapter 7 is a misrepresentation of Paul’s intent (in my opinion). In Context of Chapters 5-8 Paul is saying when I lived under the law of sin and death I couldn’t do what I wanted to do, but under the law of grace and life I have the ability to reign over sin. Sin cannot have dominion over me any longer.

I'm a Christian but I don't go to church anymore because the church is full of clicks and when I entered the church not one single person greeted me. When you look around, everyone is on their cell phone and the pastor was too busy trying to sell his books, and making church members feel guilty into becoming a patreon on his online podcast. Don't talk to me about church. The only thing en vogue are greedy pastors, church members who fill the seats out of habit and checking all the boxes for the definition of hypocrisy. Don't talk to me about church. The church you speak of existed 50 years ago but not in 2024.
