AMAZING RESULTS!! First Texlax After Being Natural ALL MY LIFE!! How To Mix + Apply
มุมมอง 35K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Texlax on Natural 4B hair using ORS relaxer
I'm a licensed hairstylist please make sure that you're not scratching your scalp before a relaxer application and please use a petroleum base to protect your scalp from chemical burns. If your scalp continues to itch like the way that it did before you applied the chemical relaxer I would recommend that you don't use the product until your hair stops the itching and irritation. I think that the reason her hair was itching could be either 2 things one her hair was dirty before the application and two she could be suffering from product build up. If you're suffering from product buildup use a clarifying shampoo. I hope that you be safe using chemical products.
Did she just scratch her scalp before applying????? Im worried for that babies poor scalp. and im only 1:28 minutes in...
Dqng you were playing about quitting TH-cam 5 videos in 🤦🏾♀️🤣 it is a process
No hate to you but, your not meant to be mixing things with the relaxer only the things that come with the relaxer in the box those are the things you should mix with the relaxer. Unless it's olaplex No 1 I. The relaxer this help any chemical damage that comes from chemical treatments eg relaxing, perming, dying hair/ bleaching hair with foils ect olaplex is compatible with all chemical services.
Do you have any updates on your hair? Or videos of you styling your texlax?
Came out 👍
A texlaxer is a relaxer. You leave it on shorter. The same chemicals. Even if you have a child's face on the package. Your hair can become very dry. So think about it.
Mines is dry natural so I’m thinking about it
I love your technique and the care you took to protect her hair, Good Job 👍 ♥️
What's the difference??? It looks her natural hair when its wet
It’s a looser curl pattern and more manageable than before
Great job the best one I've seen all the rest of the videos the hair looked termed yours looks like natural-looking curls you did an amazing job ✅😍
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Kitchen and edges last...👌
Texlaxed today... Can't get any length without breakage... 4C hair So tight.
I texlaxed my hair and I am so happy I did. I texlaxed mine with olive oil relaxer. My curls are beautiful and if I want to wear it straight it will be beautiful just as well. I can also wear twist outs, sleek ponytails and an afro. I love it.
How long did U leave it ?
i think this is the BEST before and after i seen that looks like my haiir
Your suppose do the back 1st
I don’t think you have to. Is there a reason ? My hair has a lower curl in the back so I do the front first
@@ilcouture same
100 Texlax videos later and no one still has said what a texlax is.....this looks like a relaxer to me! What's the difference??
TexLax: Purposely under-processing the hair (with a Relaxer/Lax) so that it isn’t bone straight and that Texture remains (Tex/Texture). Process time under 15 minutes. With a traditional Relaxer you would process around 20+ minutes depending on the person/stylist to achieve bone straight hair.
@@dreyahallen1250 Thank you so much!! Seems the whole time I used relaxers I was really texlaxing b/c my scalp was so sensitive I never let it stay in long therefore never achieving bone straight hair. Just wanted the roots manageable. Didn't know there was a word/process for it. Thank you!!
@@marquitafreeman9830 You're very welcome! -yup that is what you were doing. I did it for manageability as well.
There’s google
She aso added oils and conditioner to the relaxer-mix. Then its not that harsh
You should never put chemicals on hair that has oil build up
Why?
@@DivaDen it says it on the box
Did you cut your hair to keep it that length? I’m just wondering why you’re hair isn’t longer since you’ve been natural all your life.
I notice that too about alot of naturals including myself. I think due to hair tangling, patience, improper hair tools and usage, genetics, strinkage, etc it's a complicated process to retain inches. It can be done though.
Being natural means you’ve never put any chemically altering products in your hair. That doesn’t mean that determines your length. It’s like people with relaxers people get haircuts like Bob’s or shave it off and start over.
@@madib.2567 genetics plays a huge part. My daughter had been natural and at 8 years old begged me to cut her hair because she so tender headed and her hair was waist length at just 8 years old....2 years later its at shoulder length. She didn't go to scalp but it was about 4 inches long when I cut it.
For my night time routine, should I be braiding my hair or should I be wrapping my hair while it is texlaxed ?
Ok. I see. Thank you!
I want to try so bad but I’m terrified. Since mid 20s every relaxer I can bet put in took my hair out. I’ve been natural almost 3 years...but I just want to relax my coils a bit . Even natural with little heat they are unruly and dry looking no matter what products I use...not sure what is wrong
You need to understand your hair porosity
can we have an update?
Ladies: Do not apply at the roots first. You're risking a poodle look..the roots will process quicker due to body heat. You don't want that inconsistency that can result.
You gotta know your hair. I had some heat damage so my roots were kinkier than the rest of my hair. Even though it was a Virgin texturizer I still applied from roots to almost ends and got great results. If I had left the roots for last as recommended would have been severely underprocessed- like my ends were 😞
To each their own. This is the way I do it and I love my results.
@@eyekandy3000 A very rare exception, not the rule all.
😍
How long did you leave it in?
Everyone will be different. You have to pay attention to the hair and KNOW how to acquire the results that you're after. I.e. How loose you want your coils.
She said 10 mins. Its smart to do it in 2 sections and to not do the roots first.
How long did you leave it in ?
I left this one in for 10 minutes but depending on the texture and coarseness of the hair vs the desired texture you may need more or less time.
Awesome result! How long did you leave it in?
I love it,all even
How long did you leave it in
How long did you leave it in?
This turned out beautifuly. What texlaxer did you used? I think I’ve lost the natural hair fight and I will texlax my hair once I remove my braids 😫
BeautyByTimtim me too
I got the same results and used the s curl texturizer regular strength in the blue container. Left it in for 25-30 mins
@@faithyayi That's a really looong time to leave it in. Your hair must be quite resistant to the chemical.
T G the first time I did it my hair almost nothing happened. It’s for men so it’s not as strong
@@faithyayi Oh I see. (Everyone will have to know THEIR hair. My hair would've fallen out after 30 min).
Thanks! I never heard of this so it was very informative.
So creative !!
+BACK IN THE KITCHEN thank you!!
Yes skin come through 😍😍. I need to get some of those oils. I use rosehip oil occasionally, but which face lotion do you use?
Thanks 🥰🤗 I don’t use face lotion.. just the spray and oils. My face stays moisturized longer than with lotion.
Skin goals 😍 Add the link to the lactic acid
Thank you girl 🥰 Ive added the link to the description! Let me know if you try it out.
Your skin is looking so beautiful. Good Info.
Thank you 😊 ❤️
Aww cici you look so pretty....love your hair...I don’t see why anyone would use more than you did a dime size amount looked like more than enough....I never had a skincare routine...now that I’m older I need to get into it...you had some great tips tyfs 🥰
Thank you 🥰❤️ Let me know if you try the routine and how it works for you!
Washington Times Two will do
These look good. I’m not vegan but I’d try these 😋
+Jendayi M Thank you! You wouldn’t even be able to tell that they’re vegan!
These look good. I’m not vegan but I’d try these 😋
Eggs aren't vegan.
+TheFettuck thank you for the concern, but as stated and shown in the video the wraps we used are egg-less.
@@washingtontimestwo4816 There is no reason to mention "egg" when eggs aren't included as an actual ingredient.
That’s what they are called, as shown in the video. Maybe you should email the company Nasoya, who makes the vegan egg roll wraps, and ask them to remove “egg” from the name of you believe it is unnecessary.
@@washingtontimestwo4816 It is clearly false advertisement. These companies are brainwashing people to believe that plants are somehow a type of animal product.
I need an order of these ASAP....dang they were fried crispy like I love em....great video guys 😍
+naturally niinii They were so crunchy! We will definitely be making more to share!
I tried these vegetable egg rolls and they are the bomb. I am waiting on my order. Delicious!!!
+Carmella Campbell So good, weren’t they? I’ll be making you a batch soon!
The video was cool although I was getting it in eating not knowing I was being recorded.
Lol that’s why you got to approve it before it was uploaded
What kind of butter was that?
Country crock plant butter is what I normally use
Y’all silly lol...yessss more of these haul videos loved it guys 🥰
+naturally niinii Thanks for watching! We definitely will be doing more haul videos!
💗
YUMMY!! I want that right now.....
It’s pretty easy, I hope you try it out! Thank you for watching :)
@@washingtontimestwo4816 I am going to try it for sure!!
Yummy...I wanna try these...the sound of the crunch 🔥
The crunch is the BEST part
