The Boyer sling with hole is much better. You wipe the bottom when the patient is up in the air. You put on your face mask and gloves, very important.

I just bought a Hoyer lift and it is more comfortable for loved one to be in a lying position on the sling rather than a more seated position and I was trying to figure out the safest way to transfer into a wheel chair with her back all the way to the back of the seat. This video is perfect

Its the best hoyer lift video, he explained everything. The truth is patients or clients are afraid of the hoyer lift. The material they used to make it is bad. And it's not easy putting that under a person who can't move, period. And hone care makes caregivers use that by themselves. It's easier because theres 2 of them on this video except as you can see the time it takes to remove it for someone to use the toilet. Whoever invented the hoyer lift whats the point? They should ban it in homecare too. But great job to the guy explaining how to use.
