forward motion through forward thinking.
Running From Time
Another project that was a lot of fun, filmed with friends and a shitty gimbal that didn't work. Starting to really enjoy the process, which, of course, is what it's all about. The music is still hard for me but hoping you all can enjoy it as much as I did making it :)
Running From Time portrays the life that we could be living but choose not to for the sake of comfort. Each day we spend neglecting the things we know are good for us or would push us out of our comfort zone is a day that we may regret later on. It's when you push yourself, make yourself uncomfortable, that growth happens naturally. In the closing scene, the character gets a whiff of that regret and feels the depression weighing him down once again. It's something I've struggled with for the longest time and have just recently started breaking through, so thought I'd share it with all of you!

A life worth living is one where you are present. In a world where every connection, excitement, travesty and interaction with others is through a screen, we've forgotten how to live life in its full capacity. This video is my way of expressing my own need to get out into nature to feel the trees, to listen to the birds and to unwind and catch up with my own thoughts. Being present is a practic...

I had the immense privilege of speaking with Brian Fisher, a lifelong learner, recovering alcoholic and an inspiration for many. Brian had a pretty tough upbringing and although he quickly found himself going down the wrong path he realized that instead of loathing in his sorrows and feeling bad for himself, he would use this energy for good. He has drawn inspiration from Terry Fox, a Canadian ...

Off the cuff with this one but wanted to provide an update and some personal development I've recently gone through that involves David Goggin's book "Can't Hurt Me". No matter how difficult things seem, just know that life is a mental game. After all, who's gonna carry the boats? I've been gone awhile, but it wasn't for no reason. As I took time to discover the next steps I wanted to take to bring you guys the most value, enjoyment while also helping you change your life, I've decided to take a bit of a shift into more cinematic and storytelling style videos. This short film was the result of many hours of thinking, criticizing and developing as a human. It is the first...

how to stop disrespecting yourself

Are you like me and struggle with self confidence? The shocking thing about it is that it's all internal. By committing to the things you tell yourself and following through, the key to becoming more self confident is... to stop disrespecting yourself. happiness buys money!
มุมมอง 289 หลายเดือนก่อน
We hear it ALL the time: money buys happiness. And although it's become kind of a joke in that people KNOW money can't really buy happiness, we should be questioning this on a deeper level. The truth is that money CAN buy happiness if your baseline happiness is already in a spot where you can receive it with grace. Being happy with where you are, your circumstances, what you have to eat, your a...

Do you dedicate time in your schedule to get outside? Whats a good practice to overcome the screen trap?
Great question! I definitely do, although I'm never perfect with it. The key is to have time away whether it's a short walk, a hike in nature or flying somewhere where you can't be disrupted. It's 100% up to you how you decide to do it, but it's life changing once you put it into practice.
Great message! Going for a hike later thanks to you
Love it. Time to be present is so important!

Great video crazy how we can live out entire lives without ever realizing we could be going so much further but our mind blocks it. Proud of you jay
We all just have to keep going, and push through. Other people cause distractions but the one that's really getting in the way is ourselves.
@Nemshek it’s so easy to lose sight of this. Well said, thank you.

Ill teach you how to ride a bike 😏
beautifully done video, the choice of bicycles to represent the "paths" and the cycle of every day life is nice, but I feel like considering the message you were trying to convey, a city bike would perfectly fit in the first part (with the blue bicycle). It's the most conformist, standard, unfit to most bicycle ever!
Thank you @marsdriver2501! I fought tooth and nail to find someone with a city bike to no avail 😅 hopefully the message was still clear enough and thank you for watching, I appreciate the feedback!
Love the message
Thanks Zen! Appreciate you man.
Truly a powerful message! Thank you for all you do
