This family has suffered enough. The killers' own family members also give interviews and they are just fine with these 2 getting the death penalty. Why do liberals support the butchering of babies asleep in their mothers' wombs, but not a humane lethal injection for the world's most deranged and sadistic individuals?

dennis cleverly repeats whats both effective and profitable for his general socio-political identity and position. we must remember, dennis plays a role in this world, and clearly his base demand certain requirements and have particular expectations. the idea of state mandated murder, or what was historically called human sacrifice, has been known for thousands of years in fact to be in and of itself unwarranted. namely through categorical imperatives, and elementary philosophy we know that granting anyone the right to murder, whether for retribution or deterrence, is as an end in itself wrong, but perhaps as a means effective, depending on situations. therefore as an end, can never, under any circumstance be justified. because its by definition not an act of defense, is therefore indefensible, lol, elementary philosophy, but it takes intellectuals in positions of power to obscure basic linguistic tools to such a degree that you enter a world of labyrinthine, indecipherable rhetoric. this is how the sausage gets made. first, incite your audience into becoming as irrational, hostile, and resentful as possible, then ask them to engage in a dialogue about policy....make people enraged, then ask them to decide. also he uses narratives and thought experiments that are fundamentally concerned with igniting the imagination, which means all that hate is actually not coming from any external reality, its coming from the minds of his audience and from his own mind....sure there are kernels of truth embedded in the stories he tells, but much of it asks the audience to exercise their imaginations, and its this very ability that has caused some of the greatest disasters in history. misguided delusions about people around us, scapegoating, false allegations, wrongful executions, persecuting the innocent....its all connected, namely to irrationality, which dennis thinks is a justifiable cognitive mechanism. we dont care how you feel dennis, we care about whats philosophically consistent and ethically civil, and these are things can be discussed only in Axiology. yes we feel for parents who had their children brutally murdered, what animal wouldn't? but how we feel should never, ever, be the method in which we examine the most crucial social and political questions, in fact it should be the last tool we use. dennis is too detached from true intellectual inquiry, that its hard to come to terms with how modern society finds anything in common with him, its a dark realization to say the least, but one we have to come to terms with if we are going to fight irrationality, and win.

My new engine will get 80-95% of the fuel out. Both sides can benefit. Alarmists can have their dreams and we all can still use fuels. Tesla gets 100 mpge highway and 200 mpge city. My car would be 1/2 as heavy and it uses active drag reduction and therefore could be 1/2 the drag. Hence 200 mpg highway and 400 mpg city. It can run on NG or Hydrogen, liquid fuels, including any bio fuels. It also can run on a battery (electricity) as a heat source and still be more efficient with the added weight of a battery. On average it would get 300 mpg or ten times better than an old Buick and do so on NG. Electricity is $5/gal at 15 c/kw-hr (15 c/kwh x 33.7 kwh/gal = $5/gal). The battery costs $4/gal just to use it. Total fuel cost it $9/gal. In contrast, NG from house is $1/gal. It will be twice as efficient at 1/9th the fuel cost....18 times LESS than a Tesla or electric car. It can also run on Hydrogen via house hydrogen maker, thus making you PV panels actually help you save money when everybody has them and you can't make money during the day. Zero carbon solution. Six steps... So I offered one of the guys at COP 23 (UPFSI.org Stuart Scott who did panels with Jim Hansen) that they pose a prize to help me get the R&D done so we can offer it to all to solve their problem, and they didn't want it. What I realized is they want population reductions and free money via carbon tax. This engine solves the "problem" of CO2 and would allow all to have a high standard of living, and that is the last thing they want. We are going into a cold period, so this AGW nonsense will soon be over. Mother nature has had enough of the arrogance of these crazy people who think CO2 controls her.

Thank you Dennis. Very well said. As I've read the scriptures it's clear God is for the death penalty. He knows mortality isn't all there is to life. It didn't start when we were born nor does it end when we die. It's worth losing a few innocent lives, though very very sad, if we can prevent one evil person from killing again. I am a volunteer at our state's primary prison. I rub shoulders with prisoners every week as I teach them to do family history research and record-keeping. I am absolutely certain that imprisoning the human soul is the most cruel thing we can do. Death is a welcome event to most of these men. They'd rather live forever in hell than stay in prison the rest of their lives. They get it. And yes, I've discussed it with some of them.
