Thanks, love your travels
Super video. I actually found out about La Mesa a couple months ago, and love it there. Imdoor van after van. I want the Ekko the most. My two drawbacks, wish it was 4X4 and I hear you can't swivel the seats unless the doors are open. As soon as I can get one (finances add up) Hopefully by then if the swivel issue is corrected, and possibly 4x4 will be added.
KILLDOZERRR!!! 💥💥💥
Not sure I understand the connection there.
Very nice thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching.
Great video love it
Thank you for your kind words. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
It was our pleasure!
Going camping at purden lake your video was really helpfull to knowvwhat to expect for hiking since im a senior with disabilities and chronic pain thank you so much
Thank you for letting us know that our video was helpful for you. We hope you have a great time.
Thx for sharing. I am travelling to Mt Robson in June. Already booked a spot in Robson river campground.
Have a great trip!
Do you have a location in your BLOG (or elsewhere) that you list all of the different phone Apps you use for your RV Life?
We don't have a post on our phone apps yet, but we have one tentatively planned for September. So look for it then.
Been there twice❤
Nice!
Where did you discover the song used in this video? Is it a local artist where you are? I can't find any info about them, but their name seems to be "To the Valley". Good music. Cool video.
Most of the music we use in our videos comes from artlist.io. It is a paid music subscription. I don't know if "To the Valley" publishes their music anywhere else.
I loved it. I miss NM hope to visit soon. Your photos are the best.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is nice to know that our work is appreciated.
Brings back memories of our trip to CDCNM and our visit to Chinle, AZ. Our favorite of all the NPs.
We're so glad our video helped you relive your trip. Thanks for watching.
I “need” to add a balloon certification to my pilot’s license. A glider certification would be fun too!
We hope you reach those goals and enjoy the adventures.
While I have been to the balloon Fiesta, it was like being there! Great job Ann!
Thank you for your kind words. My goal is to create videos that make people feel like they are experiencing the places and events as we experienced them. Glad to hear I at least accomplished that with this video.
Another great adventure. This one eclipsed the… ahhh… ok, I’ll skip that pun. Thanks for sharing the fun.
It was our pleasure. Thanks for watching.
That looked like FUN!!!! Gota try and make one of these someday. Thanks for sharing!!
It was a lot of fun! Definitely put it on your bucket list. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Beddys are super nice
We've heard that, but we don't have any personal experience with them. We may try them in the future.
isnt it better to have a generator? no sewer hose for me!
Having a generator is a matter of preference and depends on your style of travel. We generally move every 4 to 5 days, sometimes more often. So the alternator along with the solar keeps our batteries charged for our needs. We have never used nor needed a generator. Other people will not live without one. If you don't want a sewer hose and have a gray water tank, how do you empty it?
Hi lived in Dawson City all winter for over 6 months now.Local residents say there was half as much snow this year as usual. The furrow went down to -50°, but that was only one week.-45 was a very long time.
Brrr! Stay warm!
@@BackroadBuddies hi
Are the roads there from Denver all paved ? Did you take some back roads ?
Yes, there are several ways to get to Grand Lake from Denver, and they are paved. One option is to take I-70 to US 40 over Berthoud Pass to Granby, then take US 34 north. One of the other ways is to take US 36 to Estes Park, then take US 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park. Both are very scenic drives. However, you need to be comfortable taking winding roads over mountain passes.
Thanks, enjoyed it!
You're welcome! Glad to hear you liked it.
Always thought that South Dakota seemed like a really beautiful place. Just something about those rolling hills, trees and the scenery in general.. Love, respect and a bit of jealousy from Denmark :).
Thank you for watching. Hopefully you can visit South Dakota for yourself someday.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
Lovely. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words.
Wow! What a beautiful park. Thanks for sharing! I've heard that it's a busy place. Did you experience solitude, or big crowds?
It was our pleasure! There were quite a few people, but it didn't feel overly crowded, at least when we were there. We only passed about one or two dozen people while we were on our hike. The campground we stayed in was rather close to the road, but the traffic died down at night. More details can be found in our related blog post (link in the video description).
where are the native people?
If you are talking about the tribes of Montana, you might find this information useful: opi.mt.gov/Portals/182/Page%20Files/Indian%20Education/Indian%20Education%20101/Montana%20Indians%20Their%20History%20and%20Location.pdf
At least someone finds Hutchinson KS interesting most people I know live outside of the state of Kansas And don't know half of what my hometown has to offer
Glad you appreciated the video. We love exploring small towns and Hutchinson most definitely has a lot to offer!
Where can i get the garbage bins you have in the bathroom
They are on our gear page www.redtaillodge.com/gear
Nice video! Wonderful footage of the canyon. I'm going to camp at the North Rim in 3 weeks and do rim to rim. I came here back in '89 as a teenager. Can't wait.
Thank you for your kind words. Our rim to rim backpack trip in 2019 was our favorite hike ever. Enjoy your trip!
The video brought back memories of our stay at Dead Horse Ranch State Park that we used as a base camp to explore the Sedona area. The state park was a good find and downtown Cottonwood had some nice restaurants. We marveled at all the Road Runners we saw in the Park. That was when we had the travel trailer rig before purchasing our Ekko last yar.
So glad to hear the video brought back good memories for you. Thanks for the tip about the nice restaurants in Cottonwood. We'll have to check out the town the next time we're in the area. Have fun with your EKKO!
Thank you. I love this town, I don't know why...bye from France😊
We love it as well! Thanks for watching.
Fantastic review and helpful hints. Wish you could review other RVs.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We may review other RVs in the future, but it is not in our immediate plans.
Interesting place. Was the green rocks turquoise or copper?
We originally thought it was malachite, but it may be chrysocola. Both are signals that copper may be nearby. www.nps.gov/orpi/learn/nature/geology.htm
Nice state 3:49
Glad you liked it.
Great review- thank you. Any chance you will share your apple brownie recipe?
Thank you for your kind words. I'll add the recipe to the description of the video.
That will be awesome. Thank you
Your pictures are so beautiful! Me and my dog Charlie are camping up there the end of June, can't wait! Thank you for this video, it got me all excited again!😂
Thank you so much for your kind words. Glad to hear it helped you look forward for your trip. Have fun!
Love this area!! Not crowded and beautiful, I need to retire here.
We hope you can make that happen!
Very nice presentation Ann! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words. Thanks for watching.
No way!!!! The north star building is where I grew up!!!! My mom owned that business with. Few others!!!! This made me so excited!!!
So glad to hear you enjoyed our video! It is always nice to know we brought a smile to someone's face. Thank you for your comment.
Someday soon Lord willing.
Good luck. We hope you get to go soon as well.
Will be there for the first time in July. Great video!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Have a great trip!
We were there a few years back. What great memories! Thanks for sharing
Glad we could bring back memories for you. Thanks for watching!
Great rig. We have a Travato. Ekko needs a pop out . You really have no more space inside than the Travato for 2 people .
Travato is also a nice rig, and yes, the layouts are pretty similar. We looked at a Travato, but the EKKO met more of our particular needs. The three deal breakers for us for the Travato were 1) the one bed is too short (we're both six feet tall), 2) it's built on a Ram Promaster which the driver's ergonomics doesn't fit Ann's body to comfortably drive, and 3) it doesn't have a gear garage to store our e-bikes inside. Are you happy with your Travato or are you looking for a new rig?
@@BackroadBuddies your rear garage is amazing. We love our Travato.
@@gilbertamthor5098 Glad you're enjoying your rig. Safe travels!
Good job Ann! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it. It was our pleasure.
Love that you give us a map so we know where you are. Great job!
Glad to hear you like the map. Thanks for watching!
Good one Ann! Reallly enjoyed it, especially the feather floating on the water! Cool! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video.
bucket listed... Thanks Ann
You're welcome!
Nice Video
Thank you for your kind words
Amazing photos! We prefer visiting the North rim over the South.
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, the North Rim is a totally different experience than the South Rim. It is our preference as well.
