Just found this video. Incredibly informative information and explained simply, without jargon!!👍 The leaning forward is very clever and far easier to learn quickly, and then one can understand the mechanics of standing tall, relaxed, gently exhale/ inhale. You can then do it as "sitting on a bar stool" if preferred. I wish I'd found this years ago😊 Most training videos deliberately ommit the crucial bits to prevent people learning it, especially for free 😂 I've self taught myself internal explosive/reflex violence over the last 9 years, predominantly from the Erle montaigue sudden violence system. Never studied any internal arts/forms, just studied for Fajin. Looking back, a basic initial form in taiji or bagua would have definitely been useful, lol.... I'm seeing the reasoning to the forms as I progress in the understanding of what I was doing, albeit previously- without any real understanding😅 I managed a basic Fajin one sided single strike (on either arm) within a couple of years but had no idea of the reasoning. Spent the last couple of years going through the actual dynamics, structure, abdominal breathing, reverse breathing, improving the looseness-Song, no thought, relaxing harder, spine activation, sinking and grounding like a tree, etc........... Able to do it with multiple strikes on either side, but it's now connected, like the centre is a motor, reloading side to side again and again. Understanding the circle of breath-going down the front and up the rear, seeing the yin and yang in feet and hands changing naturally from the movements 😊 I've likely slowed my learning, at times, through over analysing, but I believe it's important to know why the explosive power actually happens and also, therefore, it will be consistent-on every action/strike. Once attained, and ideally understood why, it's paramount to NOT think anymore, simply "react" with minimal tension. Yes, extremely explosive Violence/aggression for the few seconds needed😉🤭, but not anger-like western external power generally is😒😡 Thanks for the video 🙂
