I love that you guys are celebrating women but the small print is hard to read.

Do pilots have the opportunity to explore places they visit or are they go go go busy schedule. Rumor has it if a pilot has a early flight at 8 am and they finish at 11am with the rest of the day open they must remain at the airport and can’t get a hotel to relax for the rest of the day. They must stick around till 4 to 6 pm until they are released to go to a hotel or move the plane to another airport for the next day. Why? Seems sad. This whole time they could be getting maximum rest if they are set free early or if they must move the plane they could have done that earlier to get maximum rest for the next day. By postponing it you are setting them up for fatigue which is dangerous. I rather fly with the guys who repositioning the plane at 11 am and duties off 2 hours later the day prior to my 8 am flight. But your process is let them reposition the plane at 5pm and they duty off around 7 pm. Sure may be legal but that doesn’t give them enough time to fully rest or explore and enjoy their job.
