I ended up swapping to a 4070Ti a couple weeks after making this video and made a follow up.

And I thank you for that because it helped me in the championship getting those points.

Yeah I had a few moments during the race.

Yeah I had fun and ended up really liking the track.

I’d rather have a triple monitors because a 65” still wouldn’t give you the amount of width you’d need. Even the 57” ultrawide that is making its rounds still isn’t wide enough to meet the criteria of triple 32’s.

@@steezyisgaming Thank you, looks like i got my answer., 3 curved triples, it is then. Have you tried VR , e.g. quest3 ? if yes then which setup would you prefer ? VR or triples ? Thank you.

@@michaelkopec.5814I have a teammate that goes back and forth with VR and his triples. I tried it once and didn’t like it especially with me getting motion sick. I probably needed to work with the settings but I just couldn’t do it. Maybe I will try it with my flight sim

@@steezyisgaming ya that’s what I meant. I’m kinda glad it’s not the same old low tone low base v8, I get the Hoover vacuum comments lol but I still lean towards it sounding more rotary ish.

Oh yeah I found out after the second time I spun lol. I was trying to stay off the racing line because I couldn’t see infront of me and paid the cost, twice.

I’m not sure mixing monitors would be good but you can take to Reddit and see how people were able to accomplish it.

@@byknphil Zero issues as long as you put in your specs correctly. Make sure to use a FOV calculator.

It flashes blue and red around 7000rpm but the gear goes to 8000rpm

Kinda typical of iRacing to not have good sound. I said the same about the C8R GT3.

iRacing's sound engine absolutely sucks. Thankfully they said they've been working on a new sound engine.

If you like driving the Ferrari 296 and are okay with a little kick out on the rear on exit with alot of throttle yes. It’s going to be my primary car I think.

If it were possible it would have to be done in Simhub under the LED controls and add an effect. I’m not smart enough to do that but maybe someone on Yoeps discord could program it if it’s possible. I’m guess it would be similar to the LED buttons effect you’d just have to change values.

I tried to figure it out last night without success. I’ll call GSI and see if they can walk me through it. If/when I figure it out I’ll update you. Maybe I can record the steps and post it to you and you can make a real video on it.

It takes some getting used to versus GT cars. You have to be initially be hard on the brakes and then bleed off slowly but don’t over brake.
