Amsterdam & Berlin | Part I
This is part one of our first trip to Europe together. First up, we flew to Amsterdam where we stayed with our close local Dutch friends. We spent the day exploring the city by bike, in typical Dutch fashion. The next day we were off to Berlin to visit Sanjar's cousin Timur.

I agree, Dunkin is absolutely horrible. Tim Hortons is the best.

around $500 CAD round trip

@@vineetlove80 no problem at all. It depends on the route you take, we paid around $25 total roundtrip
How much was overall cost ?
Hey! For the stay in Miami Beach, we got the cheapest airbnb we could find in Mid-Beach. It was $690 CAD for 3 nights. We didn't go out to bars or had any drinks, and we would imagine those be would costly, but we can't give you a good answer for that unfortunately. We parked the car at a public parking garage which had a maximum daily rate of $20 USD for 24 hours and I believe it ended up being $79 USD for our stay. The rest we spent on food which obviously can vary depending on the restaurants you go to, the coffee shops you visit etc. Hope that helps.

Hey! We recommend completing the trip in 3 days. Covering it in 2 days would mean you'd have to drive more than 12 hours each day. After crossing the border and passing Buffalo, we drove through Pennsylvania and past Pittsburgh. That could be your first interesting stop. After Pennsylvania, we drove through West Virginia, entirely covered by the Appalachian Mountains. So, you're driving on winding roads through and over the mountains. One breathtaking stop there was the New River Gorge Bridge. It offers spectacular views. Then we drove through more mountains in Virginia and then descended towards North Carolina. Charlotte would be another great city to stop at. After that, we drove through South Carolina and stopped in Savannah, Georgia. That was a beautiful, unique city, definitely worth stopping at. Finally, we stopped in Orlando to visit Universal Studios before completing our trip by arriving in South Beach. Along the way to South Beach, there are many towns you can visit, such as Daytona Beach, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale. Hope this helps!
