How are capitalism and imperialism intertwined and how does this help us understand our strategy to end the genocide and to free Palestine? We discussed a working class strategy against the capitalist regimes across the Middle East, pointing to the working class as the subject that can free Palestine. We ...

You don't own anything in communism, so start with t he man in the mirror. Give up your money, open the door on your homes, give away your privileges. But as ALWAYS.. this applies to "Other People".. For 16 of the last 20 years kirchnerism was ruling in Argentina and these protests were not happening while students and teachers were impoverished, universities were falling apart, and the populations was increasingly impvoerished with more hungry or malnourished children ever day. An we did not see these "uprisings". In fact the PTS who you interviewed here, was friends with the billionaire Cristina Kirchner, who robbed the country of everything. So much that their deputy Myriam Bregman (the H@m@s supporter) took Cristina a birthday cake in the legislature. But now with less than one year of Milei they decided to do an "uprising" because he...asked for the university funds to be audited, to ensure that the money is going to actual students and not to corruption. This is why in argentina and the world, the left is a joke, and no working people support them. Greetings from Argentina, we love our country, wake up and do not be fooled by these infiltrators, instead I invite you can visit and ask normal people what they think.

The quite Bangladesh overthrow of their leader is the most recent example which was mere months ago.

    16:30 I found this very relatable. It took me from 2015-2021 to get my associates degree because I was working at least one full time job that entire time & couldn’t afford more than 1-2 classes per semester. This reality makes students very atomized from each other

    • @siggyincr7447
      @siggyincr7447 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So having a life outside of university is somehow a bad thing? No, having to live and get along with people outside the academic bubble would do most students a world of good. I get it, it's a pain in the behind, working and going to school at the same time. I worked a full time job and took a full course load for almost 2 years before I couldn't handle it anymore and had to slow down my studies a bit. But in no way did I feel like it was bad for me. In many ways I had a leg up on life to other students who had little experience in the the real word despite being in their early 20's. In fact I'd say the best possible path would be to find a job in a company doing work at least somewhat related to the field you're studying. A lot of companies have tuition reimbursement plans and you will often have opportunities to work in your desired field before getting your degree, not to mention good chances of lining up a job before you graduate as well.

    Hamas chose war with Israel by attacking on 10/7 and not releasing hostages. Hamas forced war on the civilians. Literally any strategy other than terrorism would be better. Trotskyists must denounce reactionary capitalist Hamas with billionaire party leaders. Otherwise you are no different every other liberal out there. 25:17 if the question of 'socialism or barbarism is now' as the speaker observes, please explain how religious terrorist Hamas strategy is effective for Palestinians and a model for the world's proletariat. If you can't defend Hamas politics, strategy, or tactics, maybe you should offer alternative ideas of how to Palestinians can move toward socialism and avoid genocide.

  • @wokeisweak
    @wokeisweak หลายเดือนก่อน

    Good to see a socialist org putting out content so I'm not trying to hate. But how are you gonna start the talk by mentioning queer oppression and black oppression and not integrate those into the analysis of Palestine and Hamas? Although rightwingers constantly point this out, it's a valid contradiction that the Left needs to sort out - Hamas is fundamentalist muslim and enforces a very pre-Stonewall culture in Gaza. Rightwingers point this out to justify war against palestine. I'm pointing it out as part of a critique of Hamas as the misleadership of the Palestinian people. I hope Left Voice as a Trotskyist organization is willing to make objective analyses of all parties in this struggle. Most of the Left has a popular front ideology and has closed ranks around Hamas, ignoring their reactionary political character. Trotsyists tend to be fair and steely eyed. I hope you can understand that Hamas is the second-most enemy of the Palestinian after the Likkud. Please don't ignore Hamas' patriarchal politics, sexist terrorism, and 2 decade alignment with Israel during which time they took billions of dollars of aid. As for the mention of the Black struggle in America, you should explain how you reconcile Trotsky's call for Black national self-determination with Israel's nation hood as a formerly oppressed nation. The Israel problem is baked into the cake whenever nationalism is pursued as the solution to national oppression. Can you explain you general position on nationalism and why it has caused so much strife even in the post colonial era? Do you still uphold Trotsky's call for a black nation?

    Tatiana, go back to reality. There are Institutions in Venezuela that are constitutional, and they should be respected. Maduro did not claim victory, the CNE (National Electoral Council) declared him to have gained the elections after the 80% of votes has been counted. Venezuela has a electronic voting system. And even though there was a cybernetic attack, two days later the CNE after counting more than the 96% of the votes declared Maduro President.

    México, Colombia y Brasil piden presentar resultados electorales de las elecciones en Venezuela. This is the tacit recognition of the triumph of Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, by the last unconditional allies that Maduro still has: Amlo, Petro and Lula... and the one who understood... understood. They were seventeen (17) and his grandmother gave birth to him. But do not get false expectations, because at present, there are two (2) sets of scrutiny records. The impartial technical expertise that these illustrious people are asking for, because they do not trust the CNE-PSUV either, can easily resolve which are the real scrutiny records and which are the adulterated scrutiny records, but this impartial technical expertise would also be tempted by the checkbook. of the regime, without a doubt. Now just because Petro, Lula and AMLO ask for these scrutiny reports, formally and in writing, do you think they will appear? And if they did, would they be published? Don't be fooled either. They won't appear like that either. There are exactly 30,028 Scrutiny Reports, which gives an approximate of 90,084 Electoral Witnesses (about 3 per table) who know what happened and who would become 13,038,637 voters, who would be aware of the validity or not of the the same ones, because they also know what happened at their voting center. The harsh reality is that Maduro did not win in any voting center, it's that simple my Dear Watson.

    What can Venezuelans expect from Joe Biden? If in just three (3) and a half years of its Democratic government, the US lost its deterrence capacity in the Middle East and only deters Israel. It lost its deterrence capacity in Central and South Asia, on the Korean Peninsula, and in Central and South America. It lost control of its Southern Border. That he negotiated in Barbados with the Venezuelan regime, the legitimate candidacy of Maria Corina Machado. That he removed the sanctions from Maduro without any guarantee and just look at what happened. Without even mentioning that Joe Biden is misplaced and congenitally ill since his infection and illness from Covid-19, disoriented, suckling and crazy. God protect the brave Venezuelan people and free them from putting their destiny in the hands of Petro, Lula and AMLO, the friends of this regime. No negotiations can be advanced to distort the Popular Will expressed in these 2024 Elections. Lula "Maduro has to learn, that if you lose you leave", like this... or with a clearer mouthful coffee. Let him save his bloodbath, his crying, his leafing, his threats and his epithets. Someone will take care of the money sanctioned in the Vatican Bank, and I assure you that sooner rather than later.
