You need to know the profile of the k55 and you determine the height of contact with the ball which is generally at a height of 64% of your balls to have a good rebound. So you must also know the exact height of your balls, generally 57.4 mm x 64% = 36.736 mm = 1.446". Then you will deduce the profile that the frame must have so that the rubber, once glued, meets this final height. : 1-7/16", remember! Please correct me if this is not correct.

So i can take a k55 brunswick rail and cut it and install a k66 rubber like acu fast rubber, thanks

How do you determine how much to cut off the subrail to maintain the correct playing field dimensions. Let's say you wanted to put a set of K55 on on a Gold Crown 1 rail. This is the type of pool table work I would love to learn how to do. Alot of pool rooms the subrail look like worm wood and the old gold crowns do not take today's rubber very well.
