I like your video I really want to buy it as a second camera 📷 because I have canon eos r5 but need a flash because I use at night 🌃 so how about this camera 📷 flash any good? Thanks
nice video
Thanks
beautiful curls
This is well done. The X100V is perfect for this kind of job. Thinking about the ZF for a second street "Z" camera, but having been a Fuji shooter for 10 years, I would like to try the 100VI (if I could get one).
Thank you ! I agree the Fuji X line is really good for this environment :)
If you download the Fuji RAW app, shoot with both a film sim and RAW, you can then use the camera as a RAW management tool to test different sim looks and do post adjustments. Always a good back up strategy but large files. As an old hand who used to use all the original film stocks from Fuji, the latest sims are pretty accurate. As the film sim mode, and the web site, tell you which is best for what, you can quickly learn the ideal sim. Of course, as others pointed out, you can use the film sim bracketing within the camera, so say Velvia, Reala Ace and Acros. After my first 1000 shots I favour Velvia for landscapes, Standard for cities and Reala Ace for a standard high quality look.
I love the short descriptions for every simulation as well!
Wait, did Fuji remove the film simulation bracketing??
I haven’t tested it. But I think it should be possible
Love black and white! My no1 preset in my Q is high contrast monochrome. Thanks for a lovely video, I’ve subbed✌️🇦🇺
Thank you ! I also love high contrast ;)
Why is there music playing that is louder than your talking volume?
This is very nice thank you!
Im glad you like it !
Chasing interesting videos! Love the adventure :)

Thanks for the movie , but it seems you need to learn some basic photography to use a camera.
Thank you for watching. I am always looking to improve.
if you ask me the X100VI got it two days ago its over-hyped. a M43 camera is a much more versatile and travel friendly and under-rated specially on video.
So happy to see another female street photographer! I was thinking of starting a channel myself just to have more women putting their content out there. What camera do you use to capture your fpv? I have an insta 360 go 3, but the footage is not is clean as yours.
Yes definitely go for it! I am using my IPhone 13 Pro for the pov. It’s ok stable, but I had to cut many parts out because when I am walking it can get quite shaky. I am thinking about getting the dji action 4 that is supposed to have great stabilizing
@@LucaCaptures do you wear your phone in a harness?
Is there a way to program a button so you can switch to video quickly?
That’s a great question, I had to test it myself and created a short tutorial on how to achieve this: th-cam.com/users/shortsREXoMwV3I2U?feature=share
you may get some hatefull comments that the photos arent anything special, but keep going, if you can make it to 100 videos, im sure you will take same quality photos and videos as other famous landscape photographers!
Thank you for the support :)
why would i need to simulate film characteristics at all? when photpgraphy itself for ne already is challengeing and intsresting enough. what am i missing?
In my opinion it’s not about complicating things, it’s about inspiring your photography.
Nice video, good job!
Thank you!
Das klingt ja nach einer aufregenden Wanderung 😅
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
You should get the wide angle adapter for your X100Vi, specially when shooting architecture + street, really amazing, and yes, I prefer Acros Y (the pictures you took)
Yea it would be interesting to test out 😁
Loved it! More of this please 🙌
Thank you 😃
It's a bit older camera but I still have a big smile on my face using my Olympus Pen F. You can adjust so many things in it that you hardly have to do any post-processing. Yes, it takes a 'lot of time' but that's part of the fun. So I call it my Zen F Enjoy your camera
That’s sounds like a really fun way to photograph 😁
Agreed on shooting RAW i addition. To me it looks like you overexposed and blew out most of your skies, both in the video and the photos.... Remember to expose for the highlights. Jpegs doesn't even come close to RAW when it comes to details in the sky.
Yea I am still working on getting the right camera settings. And I agree the RAW files can help allot to fix the exposure.
that looks so good!! Did you pre-order the camera in February?
Thank you! And yes I did, but in the end I got mine from a small local camera store.
@@LucaCaptures That's awesome! I've heard some people are STILL waiting on thier release day preorders and that's crazy to me lol Glad you can skip the wait!!
I loved finding another photography channel by a female photographer! There are so many channels with men, and it's great to have a variety of perspectives on photography. I'm already following you and I hope you keep up with the channel. I confess that I'm more of an analog type of person, a digital camera in my hand turns into a machine gun , but I watch any channel and we always discover something new, a new place, new tips... Congratulations and success.
Thank you so much for the support! I find it very interesting to see how analog photography has gained popularity recently. I can imagine that it is a great way to force yourself to slow down and not photograph every moving thing 😅
which strap are you using?
I made this one myself 😊 it’s actually pretty simple to make.
Interessantes Video!
Have you tried the high speed flash sync? It's the true photographers geek feature, I never shoot in raw with my Fuji's, I do use the film sim. bracketing ocasionally though, it's faster to delete than edit, which I'm tired of doing. I have the old x100S, still waiting for the VI, fun channel, I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.
Thank you 😊 I don’t own an external flash but maybe one day I get to try it! Sounds really cool though.
I love not editing , i do the same with my d850s
Yea editing can eat so much time 😅
Wo hast´n den her? In CapCut? Der bewegt sich so schön... :-)
Ja ist aus CapCut. Dort gibt es auch animierte Titel :)
There is really no film simulation either by Fuji or anyone else. These are just profiles with the word film attached to them. You want the proof then shoot the same film at the same settings at the same time and compare the results.
Actually that’s a good idea. Maybe I will try that sometime :)
Your comment is typical ignorance of what Fuji engineers do. With ACROS for example they produced an algorithm to re-create the original ACROS film grain, the texture changes as you go from light to dark areas. As ISO increases, the algorithm increases this pseudo-grain. Fuji engineers used their decades long knowledge of their film stocks when developing the simulations, I am sure they know more than you do about Fuji film stock.
@@JackBurton-qp4hc Don't lecture me about what Fuji does or not. I couldn't care less. Over 50 years of photography has taught me how to make Tri X 400 almost grainless in development, or how to make Fuji Across or Delta 100 act like a grainy fast film. It's the developer, the developing technique, exposure at the time of making a photograph and the agitation pattern that make the film behave like a film, not a stupid flat profile based on the standard dev time with a standard developer. Any film particularly a black and white film has so many looks that it can be made to exhibit, that if Fuji wanted to emulate them all then they'd need another menu system. So please go and lecture someone else who is ignorant. I know perfectly well what the hell I am talking about.
@@lensman5762 "I know perfectly well what the hell I am talking about." Except clearly you don't as you had no idea what the Fuji engineers did using their extensive knowledge of their own film stock.
I think so, that’s the main reason I picked up my x100vi
Just found your channel! I'm so happy to have another photography channel to follow, and especially one run by a female photographer! I'm rooting for you and hope you keep it up! Congratulations and I'm already following you. Oh, editing JPEGs isn't a problem, since I prefer shooting on film. It's more about the process than the result.
I really appreciate the nice comment :) and I definitely agree that the process is the fun in photography 😁
Good luck with the channel, first :) My goal with Fuji was to get a film simulation + IQ settings that didnt required major editing needs for my taste. Get something I dont want to edit because it is already perfect (for me) in the 99% of cases. And I got it. Now I’m in the same trip but with the Ricoh GR III HDF. Enjoy the way to get the look I want, in camera.
Thank you :) I totally agree that it saves allot of editing time!
Although I shoot in raw and jpeg just in case I need that latitude in editing (raw) The majority of photos are used as jpeg only. I may slightly edit the jpegs but I really don’t need the raws. Fuji has done a really good job of processing great out of camera photos.
They are indeed really impressive 😁
It's impossible because the camera is always out of stock.
Hopefully not for long
People wouldn't know because they do not have the camera on stock. Good thing influencers and content creators do.
I agree it’s really hard to get.. I was lucky enough to get mine from a small local camera store. But this was also the 5th store I called up. I do wish they would be more availability.
Volkspark Friedrichshain! 😃👍
Genau 😁
Shooting RAW, if you press "OK" for certain photo, you can generate more JPEGs with different Film Simulations (literally, 3 seconds job). Also, you can do a bracket to generate 3 different JPEGs automatically. These Fujifilm cameras have an in-camera photo editor, such a powerful tool and I don't see people talking about that. Just in case someone is not aware...
Honestly I didn’t know you could generate more Jpegs in the camera. That’s a clever idea!
I had to give your channel a follow for effort! Ive had the xt2,xt3 and getting the xt5. Have had the 16mm, 18mm, 23mmWR, 50-140mm, and a bunch of non-fujifilm
Thank you! What is your favorite setup currently?
I shoot JPG and raw when using the film simulations. The film sims usually go on my socials. Then, I like to play with the raw, fine-tune it, and stick it on my website.
Interesting concept. I even find myself using the Instagram filters for posting 😅
@@LucaCaptures hahah. Yeah I haven’t used the Instagram ones in a long time.
Is it possible for you to show your settings in the next videos? I would find it interesting to see what exposure, aperture or ISO you had set. And whether ND filters on or off!? Thank you for your great videos, I really like to watch them! I like your style and the type of your videos.
Thank you so much! I will try to include more info about the settings in my next video 😊 it’s a great idea.
@@LucaCapturesIch danke dir ^^!
Why would you want to know the settings ?.
Nice video! I have a Fuji camera on the way now and excited to test out these film simulations!
I am glad you enjoyed it 🤩
Please also try it short videos?Thank you👏
I will 😃
Great video, you are way too underrated, subscribed!
I appreciate it!
That point about forgetting about which sim u are on is soo true! Always happens to me 🥲
At least I am not alone 😂
