The grill rocket stove is for outdoors the other one has a chimney pipe lots of people use them indoor. The two I have made I do t recommend using inside until further upgrades and attachments are put on.

it is a blast its the funnest way to fish is from a kayak check out my 43" i caught that was ton of fun

Bsprecks Late April through end of may. This year the biggest fish we start showing up last week of april. Best window for a giant is then until mid may. Early run action can be killer but have a stock if bait if they're still tough to catch. Saugerties is right in the heart if the run and produces lots of big fish, with half the traffic of kingston.

That funny, the mid Hudson has the same schedule as the northshore of long island

no skirt i always consider my kayak as a loss if i go in on the hudson especially in ruff conditions like that. ive been in worse conditions and got stuck on the wrong side of the river for hours but i wear a dry suit and life jacket saftey first or at least a close second!

Yes I got 2000 degree paint it has held up so far so good at first it had a primer under first coat of paint and that peeled off easy first burn after I repainted it was good to go.

Hey there! Yeah herring been really hard but my go to move is stoolly with a scap net before sun comes out even that has been hard but another good time to scap is tide change. Jig up in the creek is best bet but then you have to keep them alive. Hmu next time you see me I will give you a live

My key depth is ten ft give or tak 3-4 feet I run shallower on incoming tide deeper on outgoing

That was south of athen in saugerties. I paddled from glasco across to tivoli then up the saugerties lighthouse up into the creek and yeah it was a little ruff but that's how I like it!

yup glasco park guy w the kayak i use to pull my yak with my motorcycle this year i got a red truck see you down there. live herring btw

live herring is what i used for that one but you can use a chunk of it for the funk of it and that works just fine.

i always try to use live herring but you can use a chunk of it for the funk of it that seems to work great for beginning and end of season but any time bait is low or hard to come by chunking it into 3-5 pieces is best. another word of advise espeacially when using a j hook w a chunk set your hook as fast as you can you see a jiggle you set the hook. i more than doubled my catch from the previous years letting them run and run then missing them.

What kind of kayak and what kind of fishing you wanna do? Striper is gonna start soon but as a beginner yaker the Hudson river isn't the best place to start but wtf why not it's only a little bit of water.hmu when the snow goes away.
