Don't be misled by this imbecile's comment below. This guy was one of the most revered acting teachers back in the day. I could mention a list of fine actors working in the industry trained by Anjan Dutt but that'd be wasted on him. Because, *Grapes are really sour to those who don't have it.* I can't blame him, especially when he says he should have shown us the same Satyajit Ray films we have all seen. Maybe that iconic Uttam K phone scene from Nayak should've been shown? Like youth is wasted on the young, money to attend workshops is wasted on confident but talentless non-actors. The best course of action for Abhijit, after the myriad workshops he has gone to, would be to host his own workshop (KCC look into this pls) where I know what he WON'T do: show honest, truthful masterful perfomances such as Montgomery Clift in Judgement at Nuremberg or De Niro in anything (definitely not Heath Ledger in Ang Lee films) for he has not seen or heard of them and he for sure won't be sharing his own actual experience of acting, along with five full decades of experience of collabing with revolutionary directors, of delving into memories and emotions and certainly won't share his scientific Method/System that works in front of an actual movie camera.... because he doesn't HAVE any. P.s --- Sincere apologies for this unsolicited tirade, but hey! Cut me some slack; that guy has some nerve calling a effing WONG KAR WAI film 'some Korean film'. tysm fo reading

One of the worst workshop experience I ever had .. I know this will be deleted but i don't care. He was biased , a confused man , a person frustrated as his contemporaries rose much above him and an egoistic person. I thought i would learn a lot of things from him in those six days ... What a waste of time , this person is earing his bread and butter from the Bengali film industry and rather discussion The great Satyajit Ray he is discussing ang lees broke backmountain some Korean movie.
