this vid is stretched out quite a bit so ill summarize why tb actually faded out of relevancy: its irrelevant due to lack of content and no updates along with other td games coming out with different styles and more updates/content. this drove away a lot of players who played the game consistently to other td games and also made the game fade out of relevancy so new players are at a low now. the lack of content is because planet has a job now and would rather focus on that as opposed to a dead roblox game in a saturated genre on the platform lol also on the part of the vid that touches on grinding, the grind is really not that bad once you realize that pvp is the gamemode to learn and grind. idk why youre using survival as a metric for how long it takes to grind a tower, in pvp you can very easily get 10-15 min (maybe even shorter too) wins with 125 credits. its also the main focus of the game in general lmao. after all it is named tower "battles"

Ngl tb is more like too different paths one path is tds another is Tdx as both games are some what same as they are friends and Tdx has their tb enemies as it tb but the future and on a stream ( by John Roblox ) he said he work with planet closely

if you only b1r - boss 1 rush (which is quite boring) when playing competetive, preferably 2v2. You'll be able to get to the trophy towers in around 30 hours - thats what i did. I've literally got it in 3 days. It is 100% doable but well your brain is gonna be a total disaster after it, LOL.

as a towers battles fan that started playing on late 2018 and had to migrate to tds due to lack of updates I agree with everything said (I grinded way too much in tower battles, I might need to seek help) (I did the same thing but ³ in tds since I have been playing it since 2019, I got more hours played in both of those games than hours of sleep)

You also didn’t mention that planet earth said he quit spending time on the game and wanted to focus on real life not just some Roblox game

i love all of the documentary styled videos coming out from new creators. compared to the past and old gameplay videos with no commentary, this style of content really elevates the quality of the roblox TD videos

I am late on commenting this but my opinion :I am a Turkish person wich turks were 80% of the game most turks used to speak English tho anyways the reason is that there was a TH-camr named "Geldi Baskan" wich made a lot of turks join tb. Normally most turks would download vpn but that yt has quited and with the lack of updates most turks have just quited instead of downloading vpns but still when I talk Turkish on a match there is usually atleast someone else who is turkish but most of turks quitinq after playing the game for 4-5 years is a huge deal thats all I know thanks for reading Sorry for bad English

I would move to tds or tdx, but I don't feel like grinding those games out so I'm sticking with tb, besides it's still fun.

My main issue with this video is that it says the main issue with tower battles’ progression is that very late game towers take a lot of time to grind rather than the early game is miserable for new players. New players are both a skill and tower disadvantage when starting. The only way for new players to get coins is by either suicide grinding in survival, play pvp only against new players, or get carried. Sure, once you get one or two good towers you can have an enjoyable time but by that point you’ve scared most new players away.

Planet used TB for his College now he has a job, basically invested his time working instead of developing in the game

TB is easier to grind(at least for me) compare to TDS and TDX if you do PVP.
