Creative person who grew up in the German forest looking at stars and expressing myself in any way that feels right. Here to share my story with you of living an inquisitive, thoughtful life.
The Man and his Forest (CC)

Finding The Lost Ingredient of Creativity (in Basel)
I visited the wonderful city of Basel at the French/German border and had a magical encounter with an interesting man that reminded me of a very important ingredient to Creativity that is too often forgotten in our fast paced world. I still have a lot to learn about telling an engaging but I hope you enjoyed this video 💛 I certainly enjoyed making it! ➸ ABRAXAS: www.abraxasswitzerland.com/ ➸ WE...

On Making Tough Decisions
This video is a summary of learnings I've made through books, conversations and lots of trial and error during a big transition in my life. Making decisions has always been my biggest struggle and besides recognising that nothing feels worse than inaction, I have come to realise some patterns that were holding me back. I hope this helps you too. ➸ WEBSITE: www.fridafriz.com/ ➸ RESOURCES: BOOKS ...

Lieber Charly, schade, dass Du uns verlassen hast - lebe weiter in Deiner Familie und in Deinen Bäumen! Ruhe in Frieden!

Can I ask you how did you find your room/appartament :). I wanna move in zurich next month, I used different apps for find a room but I didn't receive any answer :). I don't have a job as well this situaty make me so frustrated. Do you have any fidback?:))
How did it go? Hope you could ignore the expectations of others
Switzerland : Most expensive and boring country on earth.
Her positive thinking and her inner peace is contagious. What a contrast compared to the other 90% of relocation videos of people who arrive at a new place with all their negative baggage - instantly blaming the locals for them not being able to find instant happiness. Apart from this deep content - this video is an absolute piece of visual art. Videography at its best. Technology, selection of angles, and the use of light like a brush to highlight and emphasize the beauty of the objects are perfect. Thank you for such a rounded-off masterpiece.
This comment made my day - thank you!

boooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Is it compulsory to speak German or a speak english is enough ?
same here. My family and friends think I'm completely out of my mind...yet they spend their whole lives living in a little bubble in this vast planet....
can u talk about the price of rent and how much the living costs? food? etc thank u
Hey, rent varies a lot. A room for example can cost between 700,- and 1200,- depending on size and location. Livings costs are high, especially things like health care. Thats why its basically impossible to be here and not have swiss income (i.e. working as a freelancer for a different country)
Amazing video. You are a wonderful person and please don't let anybody tell you what you have to do. Please be free, enjoy your life and freedom is the bigger treasure we have. Lots of love
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Whoa, I'm so happy your video found me in the moment of a great doubt. After 5.5 years in Munich, nine years in London, it looks like I'm moving again... to Zürich 😁 I've been really depressed recently thinking that I've wasted so many years of my life in the wrong places, making the wrong decisions. But I also like to think that destiny exists and this is the way all that should have gone. Best wishes from London to Zürich!!!
Kass, thank you for sharing. I really hope that you do not see this time as wasted anymore. I used to have similar thoughts and I now strongly believe that my life HAD to go the way it did. I wanted what I wanted at the time. I now accept my past and look forward with an open mind. Good post by Tim Urban about this that you might like: twitter.com/waitbutwhy/status/1367871165319049221 I wish you all the best for your move - a new chapter that you get to write. How wonderful. Warmest, Frida
@@FridaFriz awww, thank you for the warm and uplifting words and the link! 🥰
Wow, I believe you just wrote to me a few days agon on another thread re the cleaning business and the associated price levels. So you decided to take the jump and move to Zurich? Do you have work lined up yet?
@@christheswiss390 hehe, yep, it was me, it was you, indeed. I'm so decided to move, just looking around, asking questions, gathering info. It will certainly take a few months until I've got some clarity. There's much to be well thought through and organised and it will be anything but easy. But I think it's worth all the hassle.
@@kasskath3578 Good to hear. Why do you feel Munich or London were not right for you? Professionally not the progress you had hoped for? Or were the societies and the people / vibe just not right for you? It seems you prefer or are drawn to living in large cities. Is this by coincidence or by design?
A creative mind feeds off the environment and it’s elements. You connect with your senses and that can only be translated through experiences(Doing, exploring and observing in wander) I can relate. I’ve left South Africa, live in USA and yearn to live in either Switzerland, Germany or the Netherlands. Nitpicking is what family does 😂 I do have ADHD inattentive and this neurodiversity explains that I’ll never be able to follow the pattern of standardized thinking. Keep calibrating to the rhythm of earth! Thanks for sharing.
Nice
Your videos are beautiful! Keep it going :)
where have you moved from?
Love your analysis of life! That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking for the past few years. I think we all need to think more deep in life and what’s our purposes are on this planet and most importantly act upon on that thinking not just refrained from it. That would change our lives for the positive better version until the next greater idea strikes us
Congratulations !! You’re so courageous and I can imagine so many persons would love to be able to do what you made ! Life is an experience and it seems that you embraced her ☺️ Just stay as you are, sensitive, human and alive 💕
Wow!
Entschleunigung ;) I'm your 100th subscriber wow! Love your content, I'm enchanted lol
I like you 😍,R U Single or Double 😅?
I also want to move Frida but I am scare of the challenges I will face there like language , no friends, and other things. Thanks for sharing your video and good luck
You move there, you work, you apply yourself, you stay honest, you don't try to come across as god's gift to mankind (nobody is), you say thank you for the kindness people extend to you, you make friends in your first week and you DON'T try to play the generous system. You show due respect for what is one of the most successful societies and economies on the planet. You ask a gazillion questions and try to learn and understand. What challenges?? You open up to others, they open up to you. It's really a no-brainer and quite easy. Language? Most Swiss speak multiple languages. Humans tend to make things look like big obstacles, but they are actually quite small. All we need to do is grow a pair, go out there, approach others as we would want to be approached and let it rip. It all takes care of itself. The Swiss are not androids or robots or crazy people. Quite the contrary. That's why they succeed in selling their products and ideas all over the globe to so many cultures and getting prosperous in the process, despite producing more expensive wares than the rest of the world due to their high salaries. Interesting, no? They seem to know a thing or two about making connections, being free, making their own political decisions (direct democracy) and being self-reliant and not into nanny states and centralist government over-reach like the corrupt EU or other countries run by despots. So go there. Learn, prosper, appreciate, participate and enjoy. Then repeat. Good luck.
@@christheswiss390 thanks alot Chris I really appreciate it. I let you know how it goes.

I am in my 50’s and I still don’t know what I want out of life. You are brave, beautiful and great at what you are doing! Stay strong! I plan to live in the alps soon six months out of the year.
"I am in my 50’s and I still don’t know what I want out of life." If you've decided to live in the Alps 6 months per year, you've already made one of the best decisions of your life. The next big decision is which country. Choose wisely. Cheap is always just that and for good reason. Just that nobody clearly tells you the reason something is cheap up front... 😉
I like your style of intros. Great video. Zurich is a gorgeous, attractive, and perfectly low-key secretly ‘hip’ city, so enjoy 😊 Greetings from Munich
Der Rest war RNA 0,00797% (6 ng).there is no Virus, it is the injection www.orwell.city/2021/06/covid-19-is-caused-by-graphene-oxide.html jpx
Aaaahh same!! I'm also constantly moving and my family judges me for that! I moved to Zurich 3 days ago, already made a lovely friend and found a job today!!! I'm so grateful and in awe with this city ❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant video! I can tell you had fun making it.
Nice video! I go to Zurich for one week at the end of november, what is a must see? 😊
Answer: Switzerland!
Love from India.
What citizenship do you have?....looking to move to Zurich as well
Hey there! Thanks for watching(: I am German. As a EU citizen it's fairly easy to get setup here. But I heard theres some special rules for Croatian nationals. Happy moving if you decide to!
Hello Frida, thank you for sharing your experience! I finally found a job in Zurich and planning to move to the city in January/February 2021. Some small questions remain in my mind: Did you find making new friends/knowing new people hard in Zurich as the rumors say? Same for finding an appartement for an expat ? :p Thank you so much, enjoy your life in this beautiful city !
Hey there! I personally think you can find your "tribe" almost anywhere if you are willing to go out of your comfort zone and share openly who you are and what you are interested in. It is certainly not as easy to meet people compared to, lets say, Australia. Suisse people are a little more reserved, I find. But they're a beautiful bunch once you get to know them. As for apartment finding I can not comment - I had one before I even knew I wanted to go to Zurich haha. But what I can say is that they are definitely on the pricer side. All the best for your move - you'll have a great time here!
