Colorado: Top of the World, Part 2 | A short film about travel, memories, and family. This video has been years in the making. Many hours have went in to creating this film. Colorado is a special place for our family. When we go to these places, we can't help but reminisce on past memories we've made here. My Grandfather and Grandmother loved traveling, and when they would hit the road, they'd ...

Have you ever thought about what happens after we die? Of course you have. Some might think that’s it. Once we die, we’re done. Others may think we come back as an animal or a part of nature. And some believe that there is a life after this one. A life that never ends. Or, a death that never ends. You know, this universe is so complex. From galaxies millions of miles away. To the DNA in our ver...

BUSTED • Last fall, @johngangphotography and I went to Audubon State Park and ended up venturing to a place we weren’t supposed to be. We ended up getting “busted” by a ranger. He was nice about it and ended up joking around. I shot this footage and tried editing something a year ago and gave up. Turns out there was a lot of usable footage and I was able to edit something together I’m pretty ha...

Awesome footage man!!!! Great work with the drone 🤘
Thank you very much!! 👊🏼
@@BunnerProductions 👍
Awesome video but I wish you would have identified the locations ie, red mtn #1 2 or 3, idarado, engineer mtn, which gulch, etc
These were beautiful videos. That area of the country is amazing. I love how y'all re-traced their steps.
Thank you so much! It’s my favorite place on earth. Very special to our family, lots of memories!
That was INCREDIBLE! My wife and I joined friends on a road trip out to the San Juans in July 2022 and loved every moment we were there and plan to return some day. While we got some great video and photos from our various cameras, nothing compared to the spectacular shot you shared in this video. Bravo!
That’s awesome! I’m glad you were able to make it out there! Definitely holds a special place in my heart. Thank you for the kind words! You should check out my video “Colorado: Top of the World, Part 2” 😊🤗
@@BunnerProductions I already did. Reinforced needing a good quality drone before I take my next big road trip out west.
amazing video. I love seeing the switchbacks in the mountains from the sky. such cool lines in the scene
i dont understand how beautiful videos like these have very few views!!! They have great quality as well.
Thank you so much!! 🤗😃
how is it in november?
Wow that footage is nothing short of incredible!
Thank you so much, Zane!
Very nice video! Lots of great stills and really nice B-roll. Indeed, there are snippets of it that would have done well as stills. I agree with Sam that the Fuji C200 and Ektar are head and shoulders above the others for saturation and pop. While the music was very calming and appropriate, a little narration or something in the description addressing any post-processing would help clarify the differences we see. I do love the timelessness of the B&W in-town. A creative choice or did you run out of color stock? I wonder how a slightly pumped saturation would highlight all that brick...? Again, good job!
Thank you, Mike! As far as post processing goes, I did...nothing. TheDarkroomLab in California did the developing. No Ps or Lr was used for any of the shots. For the B&W, it was a creative choice! I think I did come close to running out of film on that trip though haha. Thanks again! - Taylor
Is the red soil iron?
I believe so! I heard that from someone one time. The red mountains are some of my favorites for sure!
Stunningly beautiful footage! Thank you & God bless!
Thank you very much! God Bless!
❤❤❤ Love everything he does!!😍
Thank you so much! ❤️
Nice. I think I was prefer the look of the Fuji c200 and the color plus to both the porta and Fuji 400H which surprised me. It seems to capture the orange sunset tones much better. Ektar was stunning too. Definitely going to need to experiment a bit more with some of these. Great shots and beautiful video! Thanks
I agree!! I didn't get very good results with the Portra or Fuji 400H, I was kinda disappointed. I think I didn't expose properly in some cases. Ektar is probably one of my most favorite film stocks because of how the orange/red colors pop. Thank you for the kind words, Sam! Is there somewhere I can follow you and see your film photography work? - Taylor
@@BunnerProductions yeah honestly they’re looking great. Based on your comment I finally got around to making one, sammatthewsfoto. Would be great if you could be one of my first followers haha 😂 keep it up loving the vids. Cheers

Mitchell Coyle I actually don’t remember where I got this one from! Off some royalty free site awhile back, was a free track. I usually get my music from Artlist.io or I record it myself 😎

Awesome video. I’ve been out there twice and both times felt sick to leave the beauty that it holds. Keep up the great work.
Harris5thGrade Thank you!! I most certainly know that feeling.. I hope you make it out there again sometime!!
Great video, Taylor. Glad to be one of your early subscribers, hope you have many to come. I have had a keen interest in the Tamron 28-75 and with this new insane deal on the A7 II kit -- it may just be my ticket to pick one up after sending the Sony kit lens to eBay. Ironically, all along, I have been leaning towards the XT-3 and then pick up the 16-80 f/4 once it comes out sometime in 2019. I see Abdullah was using an XT-2 and I really like his work, as I like yours (I follow both of you on IG.) I am torn as to which direction to go. What's crazy is I would be saving a lot of money by going Sony FF instead of the XT-3 + the 10-24 or the 16-80. Like you guys, I do a lot of strenuous hikes to get to spots to take my landscapes. I am not a huge wide-angle junkie but I guess 24mm would be nice to have at the wide end on the Tamron, but it would definitely not be worth sacrificing the small size for it.
Daniel Quirin, thank you!! The 28-75 tamron is amazing! I rented it for that trip and have wishing I woulda just bought the lens because now I miss it 🤣 You really can’t go wrong with it. I wish it was 24mm at the wide end, but I’m sure they had their reasons for not making it that way, like you said, might of made it a larger/heavier lens. I was skeptical about Sony ever since I got into photography. But then the A7iii came out haha. It’s the perfect camera for me and what I shoot, especially since I’m s hybrid shooter. I gave you a follow back on IG! 👊🏼
My A7iii is on its way should get it this week.Did you do much color grading on this video? Thanks
Worth, you’re going to love it! I didn’t really do a whole lot of color grading. I didn’t shoot in a picture profile. I just turned the saturation and contrast all the way down in camera and then bumped everything up in post. That’s how I’ve been shooting with this camera since I got it. I’ve messed around with Slog3, but don’t really like shooting in it. Just a couple days ago I started shooting in Cine4 and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s great because you don’t have to overexpose like you have to when shooting Slog. I wish I would have done that a long time ago. I plan to shoot in Cine4 from here on out!
Просто прекрасный ролик!!!
I heard that the Tamron 28-75 has AF hunt on a6500. So I guess it wouldn't be a good lens to use with sony a6xxx. I wonder if this is true and if Tamron has a way and plan to fix it with firmware update.
It might! I'm not sure! I'm actually really impressed with how this lens performs on my A7III. It hunted at times (mainly when backlit), but overall, AF was super solid!
Just ordered my A7iii + Tamron 28-75mm yesterday. Should be here tomorrow :) A huge step for me because I've never spent more than a couple hundred $$ for a camera. I'm going from a used Nikon D7000 & D7100 to this. Hopefully I will be impressed or it's going back..haha Looked like fun, although though the pretending to lift that rock almost gave me a hernia. Are there any wild animals you gotta look out for around there?
You're going to love that combo! The A7iii is greatest camera I've ever owned and used. Only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't have an articulating LCD screen. And the Tamron is simply amazing. It's a super all-around lens, and at a great price for the quality and capabilities. My first camera was a Nikon D5500. I still love that thing, but it's terrible for video. Love the image quality though. I think you're going to be impressed with the A7iii. I'm blown away by the autofocus, especially for video. And Haha!! No hernias were had lol. Animals to look out for and be aware of are bears and mountain lions. Another would be moose. I've only seen one out there before. But, they could charge, so just keep your distance. Always have bear spray, and never hike alone. Make noise on trails (whistle, sing, talk, etc.). Generally animals will avoid humans, but if they don't hear you coming from a distance, and become startled, they could attack. You'll be fine, but this is just some things that everyone should know. Thanks so much for the comment by the way!!
Where do you get your music from?!
Mitchell Coyle Artlist!! So much good stuff on there!
this is awesome buddy :)
Hey thanks dude!! :D
Dude this was absolutely amazing. Honestly one of my favorite TH-cam videos I’ve watched in a really long time. Filming, editing, everything was just next level
