Sound of the Paleo-Siberian Languages
Paleo-Siberian is a vague group of un-related languages in eastern Russia (extending into Japan, the US & Canada if you include Ainu & the Inuit-Yupik-Unangan languages). The languages are thought to resemble those spoken across Siberia before their displacement by Tungusic & Turkic languages (and their subsequent displacement by Chinese & even later Russian).
This video features the following language families (within Eurasia):
* Chukotko-Kamchatkan (Chukchi, Koryak, Itelmen)
* Amuric (Nivkh)
* Yukaghiric (Kolyma / Southern Yukaghir)
* Yeniseian (Ket)
* Ainuic (Hokkaido Ainu, Sakhalin Ainu)
