I totally understand not wanting to drive so far in an Elise. I've driven my Elise from Austin to Breckenridge Colorado in a one day trip. If I didn't have a memory foam pillow, I would have died 😂. Anyway, hope to see you at LOG 43, find me and say hello, I'm the LOG chair this year. I hope to meet you here in Texas. Oh, I have a new Miata, it's a great car.

Yes sir, the drive from FL to SC when I bought it last year was very taxing on my back but totally worth it. See you in September!

There was a 2012 Evora S GP special edition at LOG 41 but it wasn't mine. My car was originally bought new in California, then moved to Texas where I bought it. The car now lives in Colorado, where I stay in the summer. I drive my Elise in Texas during the winter. I sure hope you'll join us at LOG 43 in Austin this year. Lotus Ltd. has made me responsible for the gathering, it would be my pleasure to see you there.

Do you own a Lotus? This one has 128k miles, I put all the miles on it myself, about 10k a year. There are a few good oil change videos on TH-cam, and as you can see on this video, the air filter was replace but it's an aftermarket unit .Sorry if you're having trouble changing your oil. I'm happy to help give you pointers if you need help.

You can attend LOG as long as you're a Lotus Ltd member, no car needed. We will be creating a few caravan routes for the different clubs from all over the country if you're interested. I drove from Austin to LOG 40 in Salt Lake City, and the drive was my favorite part. Anyway, however you decide to show up to LOG 43, I look forward to seeing you there.

We are expecting loads of snow to fall this weekend, so I had to get the Lotus windscreen fixed before the weather changes. I hope you and Ian are finding enjoyment in everyday.

There are two in the video, a gray Exige S and an orange Exige S260. We have a few in the club and they show up to our drive events.

Is there any way to buy an exige and make it street legal? My next car is going to be a lotus hands down but I don’t know which lotus’s are street legal only going for a elise or an exige just trying to buy the right variant

Also is it possible to buy an elise and put an exige motor into it ? That’s the biggest question I have on my mind

@@pablozacapu116 the Elise, Exige, and Evora are all street legal here. The Exige and Elise have the same motor here in the US. There is an European spec Exige that has the Evora motor in it and is not street legal here in the US. The main difference between the 2007-2011 Exige and Elise motors in the US, is that the Exige has a supercharger. Lotus did sell an Elise SC here in the US, that car came with a supercharger. Most people just buy a supercharger and add it to their Elise, the aftermarket supercharger is better than what Lotus provides.

Thank you! I also love anything Lotus. My first Lotus was a 1990 Esprit SE, now I own three of the more modern Lotus, The Evora GP in the video is one. However, driving my friends 95 Esprit S4 was the first time back behind the wheel of an Esprit in over 20 years. It was really a good reminder of how much I loved my old Esprit, of course the S4 is better than mine ever was, but the 90s Esprits are really special. I hope I can own one again someday.

This is a Lotus Club. Lotus Colorado is a chapter of Lotus Ltd. I live in Colorado in the summer and in Texas during the winter. The Texas club is called Lotus Owners Of Texas. The clubs organize via email and their Facebook club page. Are you a Lotus owner?

@@peterjhartvideo An Exige!! I've always wanted an Exige. Phoenix has a Lotus club, Lotus Owners Of Phoenix. I am not sure how active they may be. You can find them on Facebook . If you ever travel to Colorado, you'd be welcome to join the events. You can visit the Lotus Colorado website and join the club. You'll be placed on their email list and you can join in on one of their multi day drives. We had a great three day drive in May, I made one video per day . I drive my Lotus Evora GP and my wife takes her Elise S3 from Texas to Breckenridge, just so we can drive with the Colorado club. It sounds like it would be a horribly long trip, but it's not that bad, it's well worth it. Texas is a lot longer of a drive for you, but you'd also be welcome to join in there. I encourage you to join a club, I am also happy to be a resource for you. I am the president of the Texas club, your welcome to join the Lotus Owners Of Texas Facebook page, we will help you stay plugged in to the club events that may interest you. Lotus Colorado has a Facebook page but it's not very informative, the Texas FB page is very active.
