We started getting our *BABY BOYS NURSERY* ready

Lourens and I started setting up the nursery for our little boy. Although our little guy will be in our room for a while, we needed a second space for when our schedules don't align. We also want our baby to grow up knowing he has his own space! We still have a lot to get ready for him but I think the hardest part is out of the way, now its just decorating and filling the room with cute teddies and toys!!

We are finding out the gender of our baby on the 26th of August and that video will hopefully be out sooner than this one! We saw little hands and feet and the baby holding its head :) The heart rate was also at 170bpm this time which is so amazing! #pregnancy #pregnant #pregnancyannouncement We went for our babies very first scan on the 23rd of May 2023. We were 6 weeks in and baby was only 6mm big hehe, with a heart rate of 116bpm :) What a lovely experience!! We even got to hear the heart beat which was just so awesome!!

Jul moet net een ding onthou. Maak nie saak seun of dogter nie jul sal hom/haar baie lief hê al wat saak maak gesonde baba. As jul wil weet.. luister na hardklop. Baie vinnig is dogtertjie stadig is n boytjie. My vrou was mal oor pienk melkie en samosas toes dit dogtertjie.

We are from South Africa. Lourens's side of the family is afrikaans speaking, and my side is english. I, however, also speak afrikaans at home 😁

The anniversary was on the 8th of December 😁 we went out for dinner, a nice little restaurant we haven't been to and I made a video for Lourens of some photos together, memories that we made. We were supposed to go away for the weekend, but they were busy fixing our pool at the time so hopefully we will do that for our 2nd anniversary 🥰

It depends on where you fish. Some places are strictly catch and release and some require you to buy certain fish that you catch and other places aren't bothered. We catch and release regardless, we only eat fish from the sea 🤭
That's way too many bugs for me.🤣 I'll just stay home and get my food from the grocery store!
Hahaha this was only a small bit of bugs... you should have seen the spiders 😭 other lights also had way more bugs, it was crazy! I almost want to go home when I see them all lol
