I am preparing for the upcoming christmas market, so there is not the normal sketchbook paintings at my breakfast table. I have small canvases and acrylic paits besides my morning coffee instead.

I show my painted pastel animals that I painted this past week. I continued my experimentation with the pastel palette of my Himi guache box. It is hard at times to transform darker colors to pastel ones, especially if you are fond of contrasts as I am. But this was the point of the challenge for me - to force myself to go outside my comfort zone. Next week I have a different theme in mind... I...

The mission today was to sew some simple curtains for my studio so I can block out the light when I am filming or taking photos. The reflections on my paintings from the window has been a nuisance but now I can get rid of them with my new curtains.

I love your gnome and mushroom paintings....they look absolutely fabulous 😍 👍 👌. I'm sure that they will sell out very quickly at the Christmas Fair. They are very quirky and unique, and do make a lovely change from the usual stuff sold at Christmas Fairs. To me, the gnomes look as though they are in snow. I'm going to a Christmas Fair this coming week, but I imagine that I won't be seeing anything that gives me the instant 'buy me' feel that these do.
Thank you soo much :D I am so glad that you liked them :D
What kind of seasonal decorations do you like, not everyone does x-mas but maby some other way of decorationg for this season...
this time of the year is so buissy! I often find it overwelming! Oh I love your little ezeles and the flower paintings!
Oh thank you :D Yes it is busy AND we want time to knit socks and sweaters too :D
Lovely mini art, and they look fab on the easels 👍 👌 😍. A busy time of year for artists . I always buy a display of hyacinth bulbs and at a couple of poinsettia plants. Though I've no idea how these actually became associated with being a Christmas decoration......do you know?
No, I don't and I have been wondering the same thing... Love Hyacynths - their scent reminds me of my grandmother <3
Does anyone else feel like time passes by far to quickly?
It passes by much too quickly❤ Lovely paintings Tereze ❤ Happy holiday season!
@@BW2Color.Stephanie Thank you Stephanie, same 2 you :D
Yes, time does seem to pass by quickly, and the older we get, the speed seems to increase 😂

Love, peace and comfort. What a perfect way to describe how I feel about living like this :D Thank you for watching :D
I'm not a morning person, so until I've woken up properly, I'll either watch tv or a YT video whilst I'm having my porridge & coffee, then I take my dog a walk. I found the background music too loud (nice music though) when you were painting the small tiles, and unfortunately, I couldn't hear what you were saying at that point. Captions have not generated yet, so I couldn't turn those on. The volume of the music may not be a problem for those with perfect hearing. Thanks for introducing us to your sheep and hens.

Lovely animals 😍 👍 👌. I dug out some of my art supplies this week. They've not seen daylight for over 5 years! Thought I'd do some drawing / painting over the winter months. Oh yes, I've been challenged this week......I purchased a small drone, and have never operated one before. I also took some online tests to get my drone pilot i.d. Thank you soo much for those wonderful words Debbie <3 I am thinking of continuing with them :D

No, not for years now. I have sheep, chickens, cats and a dog so they will have to stay in the deeper forests - although they are around in the area.

Oh Tereze! You’re a hoot! My favorite video segment was at 1:27, with half your head in frame talking about lost video footage. 😂 Happens to everyone! It’s hard to pick a favorite art piece this week! I loved the ones at 3:01, 3:26 and 3:52. Just lovely! Oh, a tip to keep your gouache palette from getting moldy is to add a few drops of CLOVE BUD oil (not clove oil) to some water and spritz the top of the paints. ❤
@@BW2Color.Stephanie haha thank you, one has to live life with humor - it is so much more fun that way 😁 Yes I have heard that with the oil, but I was thinking about it yesterday that I have not cleaned thepalettebox for up to a year and no mold It must be beacuse I use it daily and replace what I use... hmmm
This week, I have three favourites (difficult to choose between the three)......the first one (loved the colours), the fourth one (simple but very effective & loved the colours) and the fifth one (loved the colours). Found this video that I'd not watched, so an added bonus today having two of your videos to watch 👍. Many thanks for sharing your great art with us 😍
That's so sweet of you, thank you :D
Many thanks for showing us another batch of great breakfast drawings 👍 😍. Yes, I can understand how annoying those lines are for you. I've been experimenting with fountain pen ink and bleach. Making a nice change from my usual pencil sketches, though inky fingers aren't always a good look 🤪. I used to have a cat who would come with us when out walking my dog.......needless to say the walk was always very slow going 😂
Thank you for watching! I actually bought a whole batch of fountain pens or/and mechanical ink pens... But I haven't got a single clue on how to get them started lol, would be nice as a change as you say :D Yes the walks are very slow... but me and Morris the dog take longer walks on the days when Kitten are aslepp and we manage to sneak out...
@@studiotezart With any new fountain pen, it's best to wash them before using to get rid of any grease etc., in the manufacturing process. Wash in warm soapy (dishwasher soap) water, rinse thoroughly and leave to dry before filling with ink. Sometimes it's a case of finding an ink that works well in a particular fountain pen. May sound weird, but there are what are called dry and wet inks 😅. Plus, the type of nib that you are using (e.g. whether it's fine, broad, stub etc.) all makes a difference......and then you can get problems with nibs such as baby's bottom . As with any subject area, there are many fantastic fountain pen videos on YT, that give reviews on various brand of pens, inks, how to fill a fp e.g. if it's a vacuum filler system etc., how to overcome problems, reviews on inks, etc etc.......have fun exploring and using your fountain pens ❤️
@@LifeinLancashire ..so complicated - I can't even get them open...
@@studiotezart When you say that you can't get them open, do you mean that the cap is stuck or the barrel won't unscrew? Some pens don't have a barrel that unscrews. Some may have a lever on the side of the pen, or such as a vacuum filling system at the end of the barrel. Could be a button at the end of the barrel that you keep pressing to fill, or you twist the end of the barrel to fill, or some you pull out from the end of the barrel. The filler systems on vintage pens very often require repairing, or maybe totally gunged up (cap stuck on and barrel won't unscrew) with dried up old ink.....a good soak in warm water sometimes works wonders. All depends on what type of fountain pen you've got, and because I can't visually see what you have, I'm sorry that I can't help you further. If you still struggle to actually fill with ink, you can always use as a dip pen until you manage to work out how to fill them 🙂
@@LifeinLancashire can I send you a picture? I will have a second go at an untuched one firsst. ;) maby I did something wrong
