Guy Almost Crashes Into The Pier While Bridge Fishing

I guarantee that shark is now dead, most likely dragged it in the water with the flow going against its gills, and the stress is not something that’ll go away once you release it. Dont target sharks man, go for things you’re actually gonna eat.

I saw it swim off like it wasn’t ever caught. I assure you it’s not dead. @grays fishing knows how to deal with these sharks.
@@graysfishing9131 I have plenty of knowledge on fishing, and I know how much stress and fatigue and irreversible damage it puts on fish, which is why I aim to keep and eat what I can. It genuinely does kill many sharks, and it isn’t a good hobby when done like this. I don’t care about the dude who is fighting a monster marlin or tuna if he’s keeping and eating it at the end of the day, but this? This hurts more than helps, don’t put living creatures through stress for your own entertainment if the end result is releasing a messed up animal. Please do YOUR own research.

@@graysfishing9131 and I’m not hating, I am trying to inform you! Because it’s good to spread the word of something like this. It’s so normalized that it seems okay and unharmful, when in reality that just isn’t true in most cases. I love fishing, I am an enthusiast in the hobby, but you need to know boundaries and risks and the damage it does to the fish you put at risk, because that is just reality. There is safer ways to fish, better fish to go for. If you want the thrill of catching monsters, make sure they are monsters you can take home at the end of the day. Sorry if it sounded like I was hating, but I wasn’t, I was just trying to inform. And just because certain knowledge isn’t widely shared doesn’t mean it’s not true, research will easily tell you just how detrimental catch and release shark fishing is.
