Retro Trip - NES -1989 - Double Dragon II: The Revenge

Took me a few plays and I had to use the extra lives trick, but I still have got what it takes to beat this classic. This game still holds up today and its addictive gameplay makes it a great game to Retro Trip with. A must play for the NES.

Another title I just dusted off that I haven't yet played. Maybe a good choice for Friday Night Flashback? Resident Evil with dinosaurs? Yeah, count me in.
Retro Trip - Syphon Filter 2 (PSX - 2000) - Intro/Gameplay Demo

Loved the two originals for the PlayStation. Never played any beyond that though. Some of the best 3rd person action on the PlayStation. Would be nice to see a modern reboot/remake of this series though.
Retro Trip - MK Trilogy - Scorpion Fatalities (PSX - 1996)

MK Trilogy and MK II were my favorite MK games from that era. All the characters with all the updated combos and backgrounds. It was awesome. Only drawback to the PSX version was the sound delays/glitches due to the cd loading - Also I believe Shang Tsung's morphs were delayed due to having to load the character into RAM. Not a perfect game, but damn close.

Played some Deja Vu for the NES for Moday Night Retro! I forgot a lot of the details of how to beat the game so sadly I needed to refer to a guide. Started a little late so I didn't quite finish.

This game was a pretty fun isometric view shoot em up with some platformer elements like jumping. Got the mic coming in a little better this time but still need to tweak some settings.

Didn't have my mic settings quite dialed in yet so my commentary is very faint. Game wasn't great. I fell asleep during the movie and this game is pretty much a snooze too.

What are the inputs to do them?
I remember how during the actual matches, they would give a little signal right before doing their signature moves
There was this one wwf game for the nintendo before this super nintendo existed and one time playing it when u mashed alot of buttons it did this graphic cut scene in the middle of the match for the wrestlers finisher. I never seen it since than in like the early 90s but if someone can point that out for me itd be the shit.

It wasn’t his main finisher back then, more of a setup move. It didn’t become the finisher it’s remembered as till sometime in 94.

Good old days, I remember my dad taking me to blockbuster video friday after school and I rented this game, played it for hours friday evening and all day Saturday...absolutely loved it cos u could do finishers and use that steel chair...I had super wrestelmania on the snes and compared to that this was much better...great times

Same. Luger's finish was the only one my brothers and I couldn't figure out how to do

@@mccleandazza4618 in wcw it was the torture rack. As the narcissis it was the running firearm. Apparently he got into a motorcycle accident and had to get metal plates put in

Will never know how these finishers were not pins/submissions: Perfectplex, Million Dollar Dream, Figure Four, Sharpshooter, Banzai Drop, and Cranium Crush. That's half the wrestlers!
Exactly. I was streaming this game last night, and I talked about how it doesn’t make any sense that the submission finishers can’t force submissions on the opponent. At least they fixed that in Raw.
