Hello it is I, the second comment. I just found my own copy of this soundtrack, and I still love the banshees and their weird operatic numbers. The "Malevolent ladies, the angels of Hades" bit still goes hard

My middle school just did a production on Starmites recently, and before our performances I had a hatred for this song because of how sappy and lovey dovey it was, and many others agreed with me. But the week tagging along our performances, our Spacepunk lost his voice, and on opening night, he was trying so hard to sing the love duet with our Eleanor but he couldn't finish it, losing his voice during the "For as long as when I'm with you" part. All of us in the waiting room felt so bad for him. But until our second performance our Eleanor did the sweetest thing ever and spoke sang with him. Even though she practiced all 12 weeks the same thing, singing, she dropped it and spoke sang with him to make him feel better. I was sobbing my eyes out because it was truly the sweetest thing to do and I will forever view the Love Duet amazing all just because our Eleanor did something so kind.

I am 49 but played Space Punk in High School! What a challenge but what fun. I was a good actor not a great singer but Space Punk was such a ham it worked well! Kudos to our school in 93 who took this on. Thanks for posting! Such fun!
