I had to shim the front of the pontoons to increase the aoa of the wings on takeoff to pop that suction.

Nice change of pace from the airfield. I have threatened to buy a Skipper several times. I might just try one after watching you two. Bill and the Tundra looked like my wheeled takeoff attempts. Hand launch is the only way I have any success at all. The phone video was great, but horizontal would be better, but I enjoyed the whole show!

I need seasick pills from watching! Give the camera to your wife. LOL

Only minus 34C here in Alberta today so I won't be doing any flying for a while. Now I'm just waiting for you guys down under to start complaining about the cold down there which means we are going to get warmer up north.

I have one that is over 50 years old, has an OS 61 SF ringed on it that has weak compression but has no problem hauling this 9 lb model up and around. I have a GI Joe in the back and a Barbie in the front seat and everyone that sees it wants to pull the Barbie out and look up her dress to see the date stamped there. Her butt is glued in that seat and it's not coming out! I have flown this at slowed down scale speed and twice, people have driven up to see the old biplane that landed. I'm 76 years old now and thinking about taking it to the LHS and offer it for sale. Great flying airplane!

I wondered what happened to the 'part II' of the XJET Taft Hobby Viper Jet review!!! I got an airframe kit of one of these and put in a more powerful 90mm EDF than what they supplied. Leaps off the grass runway at our club and is a total joy, if scary for a big model novice like me, to fly.

He does have a PROVEN record of TAX EVASION. Earning $1 for normal people is like making $2 to him because he doesn't pay his fair share to the society that supports him and his family. How many RC freebies has he sold for cash under the table? Is that why he doesn't finish part 2, 3 or whatever videos? Everybody can understand if you get bored of a project or crash it but he gaslights people into thinking nothing happened. He repeatedly lies to his viewers that he will eventually do as he said but that never happens. He is a deadbeat RC dad. Especially to his Patreon donors. That's his "secret."
