MRI Knee Sagittal IR Anatomy in under 60 Seconds
I never comment on videos but this man deserves lunch and all the cups of coffee !
I just wanting anyone reading this to know this video is so helpful. I just passed my MRI registry last week and this video is an excellent resource. My primary study tools were this video, and MRIQuiz, while I did read a good bit of MRI In Practice, and watched many videos by Albert Einsetin School of Medicine. Thank you to everyone who put the time and effort into making such a helpful resource.
Hey was it both Armrit & Arrt? Im going to start clinics soon
@@ameryleomiti ARRT
Is there specific parts to only study or should i study this whole video, i just did my arrt exam and failed got a 61 so im pretty bummed out my main source was mri quiz was confident cause i was getting 98% on my mock any pointers you can give me
@ what worked for me was going through this video several times and using the information on MR quiz.
I am so happy that I found this video that my friend told me about.. really helps tie everything together. super amazing! I will be taking it on the 20th. wish me luck <3
I just passed my MRI registry today and I Passed! This review was a big part of that and I thank you so much!!!
This video alone will help you answer 50% of the questions on the registry. The rest is patient care and anatomy
I never ever comment on videos, but I have to come back and update on how much this video helped me prepare for the registry! This and MRI quiz are perfect study materials. I scored a prelim of 88. Obviously I am so stoked! But I’m even more stoked that my knowledge of MRI and the physics is increased. I don’t feel like a button pusher anymore!😂 Anyways, study this and know MRI quiz inside and out and you’ll think the registry isn’t that tough! Good luck everyone 😊
Quick question, if the mri takes scan slices vertically (top to bottom wrist), how do we capture the scan horizontally (elbow to fingertip)? From what i can remember, mri scans usually image vertically, or am I wrong? (Just a student doing a project...)
I just passed today! This video and MRI quiz were main study material 🎉
@@tracytlee hi Tracy would like to get tips on how you prepared to pass mri registry exam.
I passed my registry thanks to this video! I watched it a few times before my test.
I took notes, made flashcards, and studied this video along with MRI Quiz and got a preliminary score of 93 the other day. Excellent source! Just study MRI quiz and this video inside and out, and you'll think the boards aren't too tough. I was listening to the video while driving to the test site, and sure enough, a question popped up relating to what I was just listening to. SO thankful for this registry prep.
Just passed my registry with an 83 thanks to this video and MRI Quiz. Test is no joke
Just passed my MRI boards and honestly this video was so helpful. Thank you so much for posting this. Good luck to anyone else about to take their boards. Best advice I could give is use multiple sources to study. 😊
Thanks for the great review… I passed.
Mr Powers is such a great lecturer
I wish there is a printable power point slides of this video
Thank you so much for this video. I just passed my boards today!! This and MRI quiz was all I used 😊
All you used was this and mriquiz?? i’m also using both of those.. do you have any tips on what to really focus on?
I just passed my boards! This really cleared things up for me! I feel like I owe him a cup of coffee! 😂 Thank you so much for posting this! It was super helpful!
What all did you use to study? Any info you can give?
Thanks so much for sharing this information. I've been out of the modality for about a decade and very intimidated about getting back into it. This helped to dust off A LOT of cobwebs!
Please do more videos
Hes ordered this to check my ribs and thoracic space is that right? Pain is all between shoulder blades.

Hi, I’m taking my registry exam in next 20 days. I took my time watching your video. It was very clear, very helpful. I appreciate you. Mina.
how did the exam go?
Finally I now know the face behind the mri book. Stephen J powers is an amazing writer especially for beginners .
thanks for this upload! super informational.
i’ve been using mri quiz and it’s a lot of memorization that i’ve been doing very well with BUT this video helped me have a much deeper understanding of different parameters which in turn makes memorizing easy bc i just get it!! Thank you so much. The extra time to explain things helps tremendously
I just passed my board exam 05/02/2024. I want to say thanks for whoever made this video possible. I've probably replayed completely for at least 10, adding the many other for anatomy and the Book MRI in practice the whole 10 chapters of the book.. I got a 90 preliminary score 😢🎉😮 biiiing.. 🏏
I just passed the MRI board at Doral location in Miami this morning with a preliminary score of 90. And I really just wanted to come here and tell everyone who is reading this... that this video was quintessential in my board prep. For which I thank everyone involved in the production of this video. 🎉🎉
Literally learning MRI in Miami!!!!! This is so encouraging. Congratulations.
did you do a online program for mri? if so, which one? what did you use as study guide?
congrats. was this for your ARRT?
My fiancé just passed thanks to this! She said “He is the TE is TE is TE.”
PASSED the ARRT Board !! thank you very much for this vid !!

What did you use to study if you have any tips?
Do they take credit transfer ?
Is a turbo spin echo the same as a dual spin echo? Im assuming it is the same.

@@trinasalas2515congrats!!! any advice?
Just took my registry and PASSED!!! Amazing video to watch before your exam. So thankful I came across this. 🙌🏾🙏🏾
This was a great review lecture, well time to take the ARRT! Wish I would be able to attend your lectures Steven!
I passed my MRI boards yesterday and watched this video two times. I wanted to thank you for giving us such a great overview.
I have no experience, but I am interested in MRI and want to be admitted into a competitive MRI program. Would you say that a person with zero knowledge/background can get accepted into this modality? Or is a previous background expected for consideration of an MRI program?
On a personal note, I’m an X-ray tech that cross trained in MRI. I’m sitting for my boards in a couple days for MR. I’m also currently being cross trained into CT. So I can speak from my experience. I’ve spoken to many MRI techs that wish they would’ve started with X-ray so they could do what I’m doing.
I Just passed my ARRT yesterday! Thanks so much for your informative video, I felt like it really helped my understanding.
That is soooo great to hear!!!
you're lining up localizers all the way down to the mid chest and you don't mention anything about it lol. how can it be so bad
Thank you for this lecture. I took this course 3 years ago during the start of the pandemic. I was never able to sit for clinical (hospital had me doing xray) but am going to now. You break things down so well
Watched this yesterday and I passed my board today. This helped me alot!
Great Review Steve. I think I owe you a few cups of Coffee.
