In 1999, the newly-formed Kenai Watershed Forum worked with The Nature Conservancy and several other local partners to produce this short documentary about conservation work past, present, and future on the Kenai River.

Since the year 2000, Kenai Watershed Forum has led a community-driven program to monitor water quality in the Kenai River.
