I also own 1 of the 83 2013 Z06's equipped with the Z07 Performance Package they are very rare cars even a base model 2013 Z06 is rare less then 500 were ever made . Great car hope u enjoy yours as much as i do mine .

For a $30k truck (2015), you could have popped for some KO3's. Mastercraft Quest tires around $150 each about as cheap as it gets.. Premium priced truck deserve quality rubber.

Gosh - THANKS for the info on 4th Gens...I was NOT very informed! I just bought one for my young (21 YO) daughter. My wife and I have owned Toyota products for many, many years but we always buy new. We bought a 2006 Sport Edition 4x4, one owner (we bought from the owners), southern (Atlanta) no rust. It is very clean and had a great car fax/local regular service records. Heck they just serviced the sunroof and replaced the motor. They did not detail the engine or the car - as I saw the ad within the first few moments of them listing. The car had 84,500 miles. It was super clean - even without it being cleaned. They were asking 16k and I figured I could negotiate when we got there (3 hour drive). We called our personal friend who owns a large mechanic/tire business. He was on the phone with us for the inspection and he said we needed to pay the 16k. The lady was very surprised she had so much interest, as she had quite a few folks that were wanting to buy - sight unseen - if I passed on it. The last inspection for the car said the timing belt was not in need of replacement but we are going to have it (along with water pump, thermostat and other things) replaced next week. Sorry for the long story - but I had ZERO idea about the plastic stuff along the bottom of the vehicle!!! Ours is the same - kind of flaky. The truck/rear hatch soft closes - and I thought that was cool. My drives a new 4runner Pro and hers doesn't do that! Thanks again for such an informative video!!

TLDW - It’s a PRO, it’s orange, it’s in good condition, no rust.

it doesn't have the TRD air intake ,,what did u do take it off and put it on your 4runner 🥸,, I think they're standard on all TRD and TRD pro models. TRD oil cap and the radiator cap that's a 1000 bucks worth of TRD missing. plus installation making it not original parts on the TRD PRO model.

Clean, but still way over priced. If those are the original pro shocks they need to be replaced… like 50k miles ago. Good luck with sale.

Wow. I literally just bought this exact FJ from someone on FB marketplace about a week ago. 2008 trail teams with 203k miles. What are the chances?😂 mine was in Texas though. Felt pretty good about the purchase then but now feel even better after watching this video.

As wired from the factory, those auxiliary lights mounted on the front bumper only work when the high beams are on. That got me for a while when I had a 2008 model.

I wish they introduce these impressive suvs into Canadian market with anti-theft device built into it.

As always, I enjoyed your video. my wife and I are a Lexus family. We purchased our Lexus cars new. She drives a 2002 Lexus LS 430 black exterior and interior chrome wheels gold package 157,000 miles I drive a 1998 Lexus LX470 since new 309,000 miles color looks metallic grey to me but it says some sort of green. not the green in your video Great SUV I learnt something about my car that was in your video my SUV has that sticker,so built in Japan She is still rock solid downside, like you had mentioned, 26 year old car, and some parts are harder to find in the engine compartment, the fuse box, the 20amp fuse for the EFI relay, the fuse over time loosens in the box itself. when you start the car, if the check engine light comes on, the car will start. no check engine light, the car will not start. this loose fuse connector inside the box is not fixable, because the box does not come apart easily. I guess, anything can be fixed though if this fuse box was available new, I would purchase it. not available, discontinued A 1999 fuse box is available new, but will not fit. yes, I can find and purchased a used fuse box, but who knows if it has the same problem has mine ? I am taking it to an electrical shop that my Lexus dealer recommended and he is going to bypass the bad fuse with an inline fuse, so I will have a reliable car again. frustrating, as both cars have been serviced only at the Lexus dealer, with OEM parts. I do like your 2000 green LX470 in the video, and I will keep an eye out for it when it goes for sale thanks again John from Goodyear, AZ ps : yes, not high tech, but I have a cassette deck !!!

I have a “dot 2” which I’m planning to sell soon and I prefer the “dot 1” more. I think even more than the “dot 3”. The main think I don’t like about the newer ones is the center stack. The 03s and up have an awful center screen which of course have the ac controls integrated. It’s awful. The 01 and 02 nav optioned screens are better than the latter ones. The buttons on my 04 are hard to push and there’s often an awful glare from the sun that streaks across the screen so I can’t see it. With the 98-02 (01 and 02 non nav option) you can easily swap out the radio and put in a new touch screen with a warranty from Best Buy. If you want to do that with an 03 or later you need to depend on some super expensive complicated touch screen unit with the ac controls integrated from some Chinese market. My 99 4Runner has glass headlights and I’d love it if my 04 lx did. Another reason why a dot 1 is better for me. It’s really a later 90’s truck that they designed while there were some huge modernizations coming into cars and they tried to modernize a dinosaur as much as possible.

Awesome video Chris. I got myself a .3 07 LX470. Absolutely love it. The con is that headlight fading due to the plastic lens and the updated tech the 200s received. Do you know if I can replace my .3 headlights with the .1 headlights? That way I'll never have to worry about them fading ever again.

I have a 2008 v8 full time 4WD limited in silver metallic. It’s in similar shape it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. It’s that simple. These v8 4Runners are becoming rare. I’m looking for a second vehicle and my wife really wants a third row seater that being said we’re looking for a 2008 - 2008 GX470 silver metallic with the dark gray interior with the cherry wood or a 2006 - 2007 LX470.

What’s the mileage on both? I’m not sure I caught them in video Green one have good history ( belts done .. )
