WHATS IN MY SANTA BAG: Christmas Haul December 2023
Your voice is so realxing
Thanks so much for this video!! So helpful. I lost my diva cup and need to buy a new one and am thinking to try something new!
in supermarkt in droogist is niet voor niks gewoon normaal libresse maandverband voor menstruatie bloed
in nederland in dutserland in europa is gelukkig gewoon libresse en nog meer vrijheid maandverband gebruiken voor menstruatie
I'm a transman and had history of having periods. I wish that cloth pads could be in the shops here in the States. Luna pad is the only brand that i have seen in a shop. Otherwise, like myself, I bought all of mine off of Amazon before Temu came along. They are brilliant cloth pads and I am glad I bought them. Thanks for posting this video.
Thank you❤
That's one period mine is mega light. I use 2 to 3 on the 1st day. I 1 to 2 on the 2nd day. Then 1 till i stop unless i sweat a lot at night
Estrella Roja, Red Star in Spanish. *Pronounced: estreYa roHa 🙂
Thanks. I knew I would mispronounce it!
How to charge these ??? Or its a one time charge kind of like use and throw
No, they're not disposable. They are not earphones. They are earplugs.
Why not just machine wash?
They're soaked to remove the stains and blood from the layers and then machine wash, like in this video.
So much has changed since I had my first period! (I'm 61). I started, luckily, with that great novelty, the pads with sticky tape; my mother had known the terrycloth covered washable pads and I can still hear Joyce Bowler from 1900 house sigh "yes, I will make the pads and I'll be soaking them in the bucket..." It may be ecological but I don't think I'd want to go back to that, though I might've used period pants on the last few days. I knew about free bleeding from the Abby Cox video (she did a whole video about mentrual blood catchers through history, and even tested some) and that might be okay if you loose only droplets - I mean, if you're a tribal person the predators will come after you (or insects) and if you wear any clothes they'll get filthy and stained and ruined, as you can't get the stains out of your nice silk dress or your ripped jeans... I DO get that women want to rebel (I ain't gonna use your stupid overpriced products (ecological products are expensive as well, and not everyone can wear a menstrual cup) any more, why should I pay for how I was made)!!!
What is in the green kanken bag?
The green fjallraven gear bag is currently my pen case, so that I can work on my Bujo when I'm out and about
@@RebelliousMenstruation I love my mini kanken backpack so much, that why it caught my eye. How do you think it would be for makeup?
Yes! I love them, too. I guess it depends on what make-up you take with you? You can see more of what's in it in my BUJO video, but it holds about 30 pens? There are other styles, including wider gear bags and the ripstop is awesome. I would recommend this brand. 👌
@@RebelliousMenstruation thsnk you! I'll definitely check out the other video
I’ve been using a notebook this year as my planner and it’s working very well for me! Thanks for sharing 😊
I would like to know your favorite fabric and why.
Cotton Topper mostly, as its breathable and I live in a hot, humid climate. For winter, OBV is also great. My favourite backer is corduroy.
so, 1 bottle of the concentrate is enough for 1 Liter of mouthwash. man, that's expensive. I can get a lot more of Listerine than that for the same price.
actually, I calculated it and I can get 2.5 Liters of Listerine.
10 minutes watching u fill a bucket.
Can you pls make me some pads?
I don't make pads. All of these have been purchased from makers on Etsy.
Hi there! I have the loop engage! The same ones as you! The white and black things are called Mutes! They add more noise cancellation!
Did you get your pads?
I got most of my pads from Etsy. A lot of the brands have either closed or moved to Facebook Marketplace, which I don't use.
They're rather plain and bleak-looking imo
Yes, they are. I prefer patterned ones personally, but Tom's Organics are available in supermarkets and are more immediately accessible over online makers. It's good to have more available options available.
Looking forward to the review !
If you had to pick only one topper material, what would it be.
For Winter, Organic Bamboo Velour (like the Gold Bear from Venus Pads) it soaks up everything and is very dry feeling. For Summer, cotton.
Mam what made you to open a TH-cam account just only for a menstruation hygiene can u plz precise
Because I am not ashamed or embarrassed by a natural bodily function, however many women are. In addition, many women and young girls are intentionally murdered or killed via neglect due to menstruation. I think that is appalling and opened a Chanel to promote positive experiences with menstruation.
@@RebelliousMenstruation I really appreciate u thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you for the informative video!
i have one it is my favv
Thanks for posting ❤I saw coles has them 1/2 price this week figured I'd see what they looked like before I brought. They look like good quality might give them ago.
Can you tell me where do you get your Hello kitty printed one?
It is from "Go with your Flow (GWYF)" a cloth pad make from Canberra, Australia. She was on Etsy (her shop have been on break for a couple of years) and did have a Facebook group (same name) that she sold through, but I don't have Facebook so am unsure about if that is current or not.
Beautiful pieces and great colours too. Enjoy!
*promosm* 👀
maandverband moet natuurlijk libresse always zijn of supermarkt maandverband naar gebruiken in afvalbak natuurlijk beter maandverband
Great prints! They all look SO cozy
You alright mate? Do you know how toxic that brand is?
why is it toxic?
Tell us more please
I really like that glass coffee cup!
This was very interesting…… women have had it so bad for so long.
Love looking at all your different pads ! My stash is so soooo old and I’m thinking of getting some new ones soon. ❤
Same! I'm just trying to find some good places to buy from now Etsy is a mess
@@RebelliousMenstruation i can’t believe people are selling cheap China pads on Etsy now , that’s awful.
Restarting using cloth again after 5 years of not having a period. I have 4 black kitty pads in my stash from Venus pads. Do they say anywhere on the tag the absorbency? I got them in a destash a very long time ago.
I don't think they indicate. However, my one is moderate.
I tried washing washcloths on a salad spinner, the best way to agitate is to go back and forth, the basket moves the wash cloths like a impeller in a washer does
Go back and forth really fast, and it should agitate the clothes more
Glad to see you doing these again ❤
hi! thank you for this video! I was wondering if you can tell me what the material on the bottom of the jar is. The white opaque cover, is it hard plastic or silicone? thank you in advance!
I havnt tried this booster. But if its similar to the other detergents containers its in a glass container with a silicone cover which can be removed.
Yes, it's a glass bottle with silicone sleeves.
Yours look very kind next to mine. Mine look like someone gutted a pig -which is what happened, the pig was my uuterus. 😆 Ps: Why dont you do all of this in the sink? Would be easier for you.
This way the sink is free every other minute to hour of the soaking time. I guess that’s why, wouldn’t know otherwise. I just started my non-disposable stash after a failed try-out of a very cheap Re-usable cloth pad with the typical bamboo charcoal microfiber with PUL backing. Didn’t like it. My body doesn’t take kindly to synthetics and the PUL slides and shifts and well, my butt-cheeks had that pad as an unwanted tenant so I put that pad away and tried to move forward with my “sigh, I guess I must use keep using disposables” time until I thought to make my own to be able to choose fabrics my body doesn’t hate and then YT unloaded all it’s useful diy tutorials and knowledge about making reusables.
@@leenb.7936 Very comforting to hear because I stopped using mine aswell. Had the ones with terry cloth and 1. They didnt soak up the blod but it just laied on top. 2. They were SO bulky and felt like I was wearing a diaper almost and to on top of that stand and wash out my own blood..No. I have them still but dont use them and I paied 60 dollars for them so they were super expensive aswell. I've also tried menstrual cups and what a nightmare! Gave them a year, 80 dollars and they got stuck, wouldnt unfold so evrytime I bled loads outside, had to shift panties and pants all the time, and hurt so so bad.. I had to go to the mid wifes to take them out once aswell with 4 decimeters long foreceps. To dig inside my own organ while in menstrual pains aswell...Man why did I do that to myself? So now I'm sticking to tampons as before and it hurts so much less, theres no mess, no more time spending washing fabric out, no extra super pain, just..fine and dandy and its fast! I would spend an hour or many hours removing the cups, with the tampons I just pull the string, shove a new one up and voilá! I thought in the beginning when I heard of these things "Man, that sounds awful.." But after a few years I tried it anyway.. My instinct was right. Did you know cups can cause a prolapse? Scary things. And how a virgin could ever shove something like that up there..I find impossible, I could hardly even push a tampon up, had to do it in steps. So its not you. These things are stupid. 💖
@@Vixinaful yikes, luckily I have more luck with the cup. Although it did take training because it’s… not a lot of room down there to say the least. Add to that short arms and stubs for fingers, I can only do it now because I’m really flexible 😂😂 And 60 bucks is a lot to well, Not to flush down the drain, in this case. It’s my relentless to see the money I spend on a cup to wash down the drain and the determination that, if others could do it, so must I (after a relative had tried and I found out, her encouragement made me take the step to buy & try since it is entirely something else to have the internet tell you that something should work vs. a relative you love and respect (after her divorce to my cousin I lost a nephew and gained a niece lol). I am very glad the cup ended up working far better than the painful periods I used to have while using tampons. Eventhough tampons were hard to get used to again after some trauma, it’s still far better than those throwaway pads. Curious how my own-made pads will turn out for me as one of my try-out designs is with the use of terry cloth 😬 But mine will be mostly for spotting, discharge and (mild) incontinance since I, luckily, have found a great solution with the cup. But if I ever were to use an iod, I need a back-up since it’s not advisable to use a cup with an iod (the suction that the vacuum might create when in proper use could be disastrous, I read in the instructions of my cup). But that one horrible pad is lost, that’s how far I stashed it away lol So all in all, still very different story than yours but all the same in the end, we’re all just women trying to find what works for us. Sorry you had to spend 60 bucks to go back to the tampons but it’s nice to read that they, at lezst, don’t cause you the pain and hassle as the other options. And who knows, maybe those expensive pads can serve another purpose
@@leenb.7936 Yeah, I jus trealised I was wondering what tose sharp knife stabbing pains in my underarea were and now it hit me "Oh Im trying a cup again" haha! Yeah, never again for me.
Using the sink would take it up for the 48 hours to soak, so that time frame is really not practical for my household. The bucket is convenient. II usually am heavy for 2 days and change every 2 to 3 hours, so of course it's doesn't look heavy. They're also not bleached white single use disposables, so ite doesn't look as stark in comparison. I react to single use disposables - I get quite severe contact dermatitis & the bleach used in Tampons also cause a reaction. Tampons also dry out the vaginal canal and are not appropriate for me to use either. The cheapies sold on Amazon cause the same reaction, and PUL backers slip around too much. In reality, reusable pads, period underwear and menstrual cups are the only practical products that have not caused rashes, cramps, and pain for me. But, it took a few experiments to find my favourite cup (Yuuki) and what works for me with cloth (cotton, zorb, flannel and corduroy backs so they don't move around). I have minimal pain inspite of a 5 day period of 60-70ml because of this. But that's an individual thing and is therefore a different experience for everyone.
Cute pads! I haven’t seen some of those prints before.
How do you keep them so clean ?
I have a couple of cleaning videos. There in my Hygiene Playlist. I'll be going another one soon.
I recently saw an instagram post by a mother with a teenage daughter with extreme learning difficulties and autism, and she said a product like this is a life saver. It is something I never thought of, but I am happy these give a small amount of respite, and gave me new perspective
Let us know how it works
What u gunna do with the beans in the tin?
I can't find the makers of the pads you mentioned:( did u say 'Erin sweet' and 'go with your flow'?
I purchased from Etsy. Erin Sweet Sew and Go With your Flow - she was on Facebook marketpace for a while but I don't have Facebook so am unsure where she sells now. I used to put in links, but Etsy has changed so much and a lot of these makers don't sell on that site anymore.
Such beautiful prints. Thanks for sharing!
The name of Jesus is real..call on em
Does the ruby cup bubble stem hurt/ cause discomfort??
No, not at all. Its a very comfortable cup. Its on teh soft side. However, I have a high cervix, which means the cup & stem can completely be inside (the whole cup is meant to fit inside).. If you have a low cervix, you'll need to get an appropriate sized cup.
@@RebelliousMenstruation no no. I mean. .. the cup looks great.. I'm asking whether the bubble stem is irritating. Because usually we see flat tab stems with smooth texture?
No. The stem is not irritating at all.
@@RebelliousMenstruation thanks :)
