Hi- i find using this time recommendation that there’s too much espresso or output. I used 18gms of espresso beans and aiming for 36gms output.
Well Lush helps coffee shops with apron cleaning and delivery. It’s a lifesaver for busy businesses!
Nhhh
Very informative video though why you chose to play music over the sounds of coffee making is a little odd.
Can you share your settings? When I grind for my Sage, it's not able to push the shot through. When I finally got it to push a shot through, it was bitter
I have one of these hand grinders and in a pinch I can do espresso grind but I think it depends on the beans. I dial all the way in then count the clicks out. For me and my beans 5 clicks out works for espresso
I have a Niche. Nowhere do you say what the grind settings are, or what type of roast of coffee you are using to get some context. I have no idea where to start
After missing out on the first two drops, I managed to bag a Bird in the recent third launch a couple of weeks ago. Then had to pay a ransom of over £100 in customs/tax. Still I have a lot of time for the guys at Weber, so that's okay. I own and use daily a HG1 grinder and excellent it is, too. However, I'm not so sure about your proportions, 45g of coarse ground beans with at least 300ml of water. That's not coffee it's hot brown.
45 is not the bean weight but water temperature on the fellow kettle
Just got mine today. Brewing Kona beans for now and the bird provided some subtle characteristics that my clever dripper couldn’t nor my aero press. Price is subjective but I can say it’s fun to use….so far and very premium feel. It makes a better YT short like the one here than it does at revolutionizing a cup of joe. But I’m keeping it for bragging rights lol
Where is the ordering channel?
Seem cool if it could stop to sell out in 60 sec....
Great video as always. Looks very tactile to use.
Looks pretty... pretty complicated. I stick with my Clever for now
Eh, I think a lot is performance art by users for YT videos. It boils down to... Put coffee in on top of filter. Put water in. Stir with handle. Twist handle to filter. Pour. Less complicated than an aeropress.
What music is this?
‘Rife’ by Woolfson
Shazam it
@@august_iivThank you. It's a real earworm
Very chilled. Lovely clarity. Off to make a brew now.
We are missing your wonderful coffee making skills, and our thoughts have turned to getting our own espresso machine. I’d saved this video to rewatch for exactly this (inevitable) moment. Thank you - it’s given us a lot to think about (I’ve just been measuring space above the washing machine to fit in the Sage 😊)
Aww I miss you guys! How exciting though! I hope you can find the space for one! Let me know if you need any more help or advice! ❤️
Mar 2024 Australia, looking forward to your next video :)
Thankyou , yes 😊
Thankyou , great review , have the Breville version quite happy with it , just wondering best weight of grinds for double shot flat white please , have never weighed it ?
Hi there! Thanks 🙏 hope it helped! I use 17g as a starting point and adjust accordingly from there depending on taste but it’s a small basket so 18g is probably the max. I have done a video on dialling in espresso where I cover some recipes and weights ☺️ hope this helps!
Hi What of material is built the pipe of thermoblock?
Your photography is so good! Love the dedication to the space
Ah thank you so much that’s so kind!
This tasted disgusting, but it's helped with my technique. Thanks for the video
nice video! Been deciding between this one and the infuser model. I brew beer and now looking at brewing espresso as well lol. You need more subs, soooooo I'm subbed!
Ah thank you so much!
Impressive 👍🏿
Thank you 😀
Love mine! Found at homegoods for $175, so a great deal
Thanks for your time much appreciated.
Thanks for watching! Hope it was useful
Had mine since 2016 best appliance esspresso machine bang for buck
My Bambino plus self destructed a few weeks ago and although I was pretty gutted at the time it turned out to be a massive stroke of luck. Why? I replaced it with the Duo Temp Pro which I was lucky enough to buy new for £299.00. This machine is on a different level to the Bambino. Better coffee, better looking, better in every respect. Heavyweight rather than lightweight. It feels more like a coffee machine for adults whereas the Bambino is more for bambinos.
I’m also having a bambino plus now but thinking to move to the duo temp pro. Does it really worth it to swap to this machine?
@@gaborsimko3870 Maybe yes, maybe no. Personally I prefer using the Duo temp pro but there’s not much difference in taste. Good beans and a good grinder make a difference. I recently bought the Eureka Oro which cost more than either of the coffee machines.
@@JackJonnerI purchased my bambino plus second hand and it works fine but I heard that the duo temp pro is easier to fix in case there is an issue with it. How long your bambino worked for before it died?
@@gaborsimko3870 About two years. The problem was that all the lights flashed at the same time and it stuck in that mode. I’ve read that this can happen but not too often. I am happier with the Duo temp pro and it works well with the Eureka Oro Mignon.
Beautiful bar, and lovely video.
Thank you!
Great video & update. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Your channel needs WAY more attention!
Ah thank you!
I love this video, because it connects with my life so much! The Outpost jars are lush too 😊 The b-roll, the voice over, and the slow edit is really cool. Well done Kiki!
Ah thanks Josh! Appreciate your support! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Amazing , very elegant !
Thank you! 🙏
Realy nice. Like a artefact
It’s a work of art isn’t it!
Hey, sorry for being late to the party. I’m wondering if you’re including pre infusion time on the 34 second extraction ? Mine is probably 8 seconds long if not 10. Thanks, very informative.
I like mine as well. It is a real bargain relative to some of the Italian machines (like the Gaggia Classic) and the ability to do what you want is what I love. If I had purchased one for my 'permanent' home (I have been working away from there for some time), I would have bought a dual boiler model but this is really great and the price cannot be beat. Along with the Sage Pro Grinder I can pretty much make a few coffees pretty quick. I would recommend it really highly if you aren't into massive customization other than via doing it manually.
Never knew a piece of wood and metal could be so wonderful✨🤩🤩🤩
It’s a work of art isn’t it!
If this was an hour long it would be the perfect accompaniment to studying. ❤
Thanks. Enjoyable and helpful. All the best Ade
Thank you!
I've had mine now for just over 2 years and have to say, I love it. I also have the Sage Pro Grinder. Mod's I've made (same as you) include changing to a bottomless portafilter but I also changed out the basket for one by IMS. I also added bellows to the grinder hopper which removes a surprising amount of ground coffee. I also use a good WDT and a much nicer looking (and solid) tamper.
Sounds great! It’s amazing what a difference a few little upgrades can make!
Just stumbled across your site and watched a couple of vids. I'm from Manchester and didn't know that the coffee festival was a "thing" so I'll be looking out for the next one. Good look luck with the channel and I'll keep a look out for more content from you.....
Hi there! Thanks for jumping on board! Yeah the Coffee Festivals are great fun , I would highly recommend them. It’s a great way to try loads of coffee and demo some cool gear!
Hi there! Just bought the Niche, after getting the Sage. Any recommendations on which grinding setting you use on the Niche? I tried around the 18-20, but tastes too bitter. And 24 goes through very very fast. Always 17.5gr. I don’t know, very frustrated tbh. Tried sooooo many combinations… Any recipes to share? Also wasting so much coffee… 😭
Hi! Sorry for the late response. I used between 10-15 depending on the coffee and recipe. Are you weighing and timing your coffee out? If you put 17g in you want double out, so 34g liquid out. If it’s tasting bitter try lowering your dose of coffee slightly and see where you are then.
what's the song playing at around 9:10 when you're making the shot?
Does it have a standard E61 58mm portafilter ?
Hi, this machine doesn’t have an E61 group head , it’s 58mm portafilter though
I missed you! Good product, there. I love the manual ones, You can always use them off-grid where there isn't sufficient power supply
Aw thank you! Yeah they are fantastic! It’s so simple but can create amazing coffee anywhere, so much fun to use!
Лучший❤
I’m worried about , guessing the time for the shot of coffee, is there an advantage of being able to control the time of the shot , and how on earth do I guess this thks for time enjoyed the video..
I am trying to figure out if some of these filter baskets are for pods or not . Want to send a picture to you. Not sure how to attach pic?
Great review! 🎉 I do love these scales. For the price they’re excellent. I found the little touch buttons (especially on the espresso scales) slightly unresponsive, especially when wet. But perhaps the beeps help with that!
The scale looks good, but I love the Fellow stagg kettle in the background :)
How many clicks from zero for the aeropress grind?
