What spring rates did you go with; front/rear?
whats the brand?it can stretch truck cv boot?
Did you survive this drive to doom?
Benefits of going 3" over 2"?
Where did you buy the boot? Myself I have a Toyota RAV4 . And I know one day I’m going to need to replace all of them . And I do not want to go to an auto parts store . Where did you buy the silicon boot, please?
You drive slow as shit wtf
part number and will they fit my 07 forester without deleting my front swaybar? i have adjustable endlinks idk if that makes a difference?
it comes with washers, where did you put yours? do they go behind the plate against the bushing to cover a gap?
Did this actually make any noticeable difference in the way the car drives or feels?
Sounds so good🤌🏽
Great video
Just wondering where you got your front bullbar from? I've searched but cannot find anything for my '04 XS.
I broke all nuts(welds) trying to take them out and I had to cut the floor to put a socket on both sides…hope this doesn’t happen to you!
You have no idea what ASMR means, do you?
Thanks for the video. Is your car auto?
She is pretty 🎉🎉🎉❤
What year is your sambar?
chest or head mount?
Stop collecting then noob!
Does it really cool the engine better
This wouldn’t cool the engine one bit. If anything could be cooling the engine it’s removing the factory cover from under the hood. Exactly what he’s doing is protecting the paint on the other side of the hood from failure due to excessive heat
🤜🔥🤛Great video thats a kewl tewl! Lol haha Firstly - Do you like these better than the Red silicone Toyota ones? Just lifted my 08 fozzy and i am worried about CV boots 2nd - lifted 1.25 in the front an lifted +2.5 rear should i be worried about cv issues in general and not just the CV boots? Is 2.5 too high?
Nah you’ll be just fine. Yes I do recommend these blue point boots over the red ones, the red ones didn’t work well
@@BrianLipkeMedia ✌awesomeness how long have they lived and held up for?! Thanks for getting back to me man! So I see a diffrent named brand but same part number on amazon rn, but i know blue point as a brand is fairly reputable! I'll find these ones and use them! Although just down low on the wheel side from underneath i bet the red ones looked pretty snappy! I feel with any color you could see or spot tears rips cracks etc in the silicone boots sad they're not as solid i was hoping for! At least these ones exist! Being +2.5 in the rear the CV axles and or Boots, do they break more or is it more common to burn through boots?
From Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹, thank you for the hack! All the best for your future uploads 😊
Soooo about that review video
There’s better out there. Go with Raceworks coilovers
cool to find a content creator in my own town. keep it up bro
What kind of boot do you use?
Looks fun
Did you need sub frame spacers to install these
Nope
Didn’t see you connect swaybar endlinks, how did they fit? We installed aluminum control arms on a forester xt and the endlinks don’t seem to fit right… trying to figure out if the endlink mount location on the control arm is in a different spot. Any ideas?
I deleted my front and rear sway bars so I never had to worry about it. You’ll likely need STI end links and sway bar
I like the wheels
I understand the coilovers have more stroke/compression than factory style struts and springs, but do you not need different/longer lower control arms for it to actually be a long travel suspension setup?
Nope, the control arm does have enough movement to get a few more inches of travel than factory. There is a very large increase in droop and compression range than factor struts. I do have aluminum STI control arms which are slightly longer than the factory arms which does help with this
@@BrianLipkeMedia how much lift did the coilovers and top hat spacers give you? Are your tires P235 or LT235?
So the coilovers gave about 2” front and 2.5” rear, the top hat spacer are 1” so a total of 3” front and 3.5” rear. My tires are LT235/75r15
Thinking about getting these for my Sambar, how are they holding up?
Really well!
Which size boots did you use? Do you have a link?
Hey quick question when you lifted your Subaru what did you use for a spacer for the transmission support? and do you have drive axle wear mine sits in line and chunks starting off in first even replaced it to have it start on the new drive axle.
It sounds so good.
Still jealous of that boot spreader.
Yeah I definitely need to get one of those.
Where did you find these boots? Going crazy looking for some
I definitely recommend Blue Point FlexxBoots over these now, you can find them on Amazon
Hi, did it last longer ?
Did you used a 05/09 LGT bpv.? Or 14+ WRX
Was gonna buy this today till I saw there is a difference in years
Gonna buy for my 07 forester xt
No, because I have an STI style intercooler I went with the 04+ STI BPV
@@BrianLipkeMedia hm I have an sti top mount but I also have a rev 9 fmic that I’m about to install what year sti one did you buy.?
@@BrianLipkeMedia nvm I seen haha
1 downside is that aluminum can crack and break with the right fatigue conditions. IE smacking a rock. Dented or bent steel will still get you home.
Hi. Thank you for making videos. Do you still have the Gorilla long travel suspension installed? Are you able to make a long term review please.
how long did it take you to get your bpv ? mine is back order rn
It took about two weeks
@@BrianLipkeMedia just barely got mine this week 😂
Dang that was beautiful. I miss my XT so much...
Nice time lapse, looks like a fun drive 👍
is it a bpv or bov
It’s a BPV
@@BrianLipkeMediado you need a tune to put one on?
@@nrzqyz-7684yes you also need the larger tmic I would tune.
@@zazawagona by pass valve isn’t something you tune for. A Blow off valve is what needs a tune. I’ve owned 2 wrx’s never had an issue, worked with tuners, ran the 2015+ wrx Facebook page as a moderator and helped people avoid blowing their cars up. No one ever had any car troubles following my advice. Hope this helps reassure you of the difference. A BPV doesn’t change anything but the sound. A BOV vents to the atmosphere which changes the air flow that was just calculated and is now off because it vented. BPV’s don’t vent to an atmosphere they retain the same air fuel ratio that was already calculated.
